You can say that these games don't matter, but they are a pretty good indicator of BAF success. Last season Cleveland and New Orleans made the 2K finals and they had the best regular season records in their respective conferences. Portland made the finals in the BAF SIM, but we were missing most of our starters/bench during the 2K run.

GM's should take note on how their teams perform because Wolverine Studios aren't doing y'all any favors.

While I agree the sim is more important, having this other form of associated entertainment is a nice addition, especially for those who want more, or maybe they prefer live action.

Or if a team is struggling in the sim, maybe they can at least see some sort of success with 2k

We all understand Wolverine studio’s sim is what we use, and 2k is just for fun. But I keep seeing a trend here that I want to address. I do think it’s slightly disrespectful to Melo to keep trashing the 2k bubble games. A schedule was put in place and he is devoting HIS time (while in school) for our entertainment. Putting every roster together takes a lot of time. Some guys don’t even bother tuning in or acknowledging what he does. We should at least appreciate and respect that.

i appreciate that bro. much respect to you and the others that acknowledge the time and effort i put in. it's not easy doing this but im not complaining since i volunteered to do it. just trying to help keep this league active and fun.

that's a good point however my team looks much worse in next gen than last gen for some reason. we're running 2k on different platforms than last year's bubble so im not sure how big of a difference we'll see in terms of correlation to BAF SIM success. in next gen randle gets destroyed by mediocre bench players and murray plays like 2014 raymond felton. i mean it's gotten to the point where im considering benching murray for tonights game. i find it hard to believe my team is much worse than last season and i think everyone can agree with that. i do like the 2k sim more than cpu gameplay because it's more reflective of players ratings like our BAF SIM rather than CPU gameplay which seems to just be off animations made for specific players and what not. just my opinion though. at the end of the day 2k is just used for fun so i still think nobody should use it as a predictor for next season imo.

I appreciate and respect everything melo is doing. Im one of the few posting and commenting on the games every weekend even if they are a blowout because I'm doing it for melo since he's taking the time. I know what it's like to put effort into the game and mostly get negative commentary.

I just wish 2K was more competitive and unless melo is a developer for 2K I don't see it as a slight. It's a nice distraction... the games just stink for the most part. 50 pts blowouts are the norm and even for games which should be a little more competitive. That's all. I do wish more people would show up to support melo just not 2K but since the games arent competitive and unless people don't have lives like myself lol. Kids really keep you from having Friday and Saturday night plans. It's a lower turnout most nights.


Maybe as we get farther and we get teams like you and smash and melo and deeeez along with buzz along with others against each other maybe more will tune in since those should be more competitive.

Melo deserves some sort of recognition or compensation for what he's doing.

The early games deserve less participation only because it's like the first round of March madness.

It's really the next few rounds that matter the most.

That and Harden not trying to take over until the 4th were most surprising. With the way Miami played, I have to assume Harden does not have a all defensive type rating either.
