It's likely an extension length issue with Harden. He just needs to decide how long before he wants to hit FA again. He may be too old to get another max deal if he extends for the maximum years. I can see him adding 1-2 more years & trying to hit FA again by 34.

I'm excited to hear it. Nic has to put in the work, but having a generational playmaker like Harden to lead him is a blessing, and we will reap the benefits.

I know we have a ton of veteran bigs, they're all good and they'll all get run. But I still believe all signs point to James lobbying HARD for Claxton to be the 5th starter. And it's not a DJ situation where a giftwrapped role hurts us. The Claxton-Harden combination was absolutely lethal for a long stretch last season (before Nic's bday party / COVID suspension / conditioning).
Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.

looks like Harden is working on some new moves. It'll be cool to see how he looks in a full-season with the Nets

I think we may see some standard big pairings that balances shooting & mobility. My gut says that looks like Aldridge-Claxton & Griffin-Millsap, but I could be wrong.

Embarrassing. Kyrie needs to understand that its not just about him.

Ok. so unless Bob just didn't see them, we can assume who the other two unvaxed Nets are.

Kyrie is on instagram right now.

Kyrie will more than likely be granted religious exemption.

The New York City mandate is bull. Forcing people into homelessness for a vaccine is not acceptable on any planet. I don’t blame him whatsoever. Seeing how this is affecting hard working people in my family is unacceptable but we’ve allowed this city to be overrun by class clown losers for far too long.

A lot more people agree with his stance than mainstream media would ever admit but this fall will unveil how many people aren’t going to sit quietly accepting this ‘Key to the City’ nonsense and I don’t care if this is an unpopular opinion.

If this country, state and city thinks what’s going on in local Australia is acceptable either, there is a morality conversation that need to happen.

Using Covid to give pharmaceutical companies the right to dictate power, dominance over their employees, medical doctors isn’t acceptable. It’s exactly what it is.

Andrew Wiggins just tried to get an exemption and the league told he to **** off, and rightfully so. Kyrie is absolutely in the wrong here and I hope seeing how his teammates were all together today while he was at home looking like an absolute fool made him rethink things, but I doubt it.

Kyrie Irvings media day:

I'm honestly not sure what to expect of this guy this season. What are all of your thoughts? Can Irving make it through a season without extra distractions or do you just take the good and ride out the rest?

I have no idea what will happen, I'm just glad we have Kevin Durant and James Harden, two guys that aren't out of their minds.

That's a good point. KD and Harden may be the only two players that can keep Irving between the lines.

I don't know. I just hope Kyrie comes to his senses sooner than later because he is hurting the team with this nonsense.

Considering the direction Bradley Beal went in, I think the Kyrie stuff actually went really well
