4-2. I'd be shocked if they beat either team. Too many penalties and too many mistakes to overcome good teams. Glad they are off to a 4-0 start and did beat a pretty good West Virginia team. But having a quality QB at least gives you that opportunity to compete.

I know Iowa didn't look that impressive in their win over Colorado State. Hopefully, they don't look that impressive on Friday night in front of the most crazed group of Maryland fans since that Penn State game in 2019 (59-0 loss).

It'd be great to be undefeated going against Ohio State - it'll be a family feed - my brother in law's an Ohio State fanatic and got my niece to go there. If Ohio State wins by less than 40, I call it a MD win.

Good thing I have no tv ATM.

Iowa is giving it to the Terps.

Mike Locksley is a nice man. (Cannot add more without getting negative).
Bye bye Beal.

Glad you’re not watching. Demus’ injury was gruesome.

https://www.nbadraft.net/nba-mock-drafts/

NBAdraft.net has MD's Ian Martinez going 19th in the 2022 draft. Seems high for someone of his modest stats in Utah - not to mention he's small for a shooting guard. He's listed as a PG, but based on how few assists he had, I can't imagine he'll stay there.

A prominent sports journalist .is forecasting Maryland as a dark horse Final Four team.

I THOUGHT Fatts Russell, Qudus Wahad, and Julius Reese were key newcomers. I thought Martinez was pretty much not all that at Utah.

Ruzious, I think Dante Scott will be the best pro. I also give Eric Ayala an outside chance at making it in the NBA.

As for this particular mock draft I think it is crap. In the 2023 mock it has Drew Timme going 56 and Hunter Dickinson going 59th. I guess that must be the Luka Garza effect. I totally disagree on both players

Yeah, I'm guessing Fatts starts with Ayala, and Martinez is the 3rd guard. The Big 10 teams tend to be big up front, so it's good to have a guy like Q taking the pressure off of Reese. Scott is like a poor man's Miles Bridges. I think he got a little too bulky trying to play big last season. If he can slim down a bit and get quicker, he can be a pro, imo. And his friend from Philly, Hakim Hart, adds quality depth. Ike Cornish and James Graham are top 100 recruits who are going to have to fight for playing time.

Fatts was Dante’s teammate before IIRC.

This team might just be stacked. I have no faith in Mark Turgeon to win the big games but he has pulled off a few big ones
