I'm going to say

8pts/4rbs/3assists on 41% FG/31% 3ptFG and 68% FT

I'm not expecting the world of him, with his flaws in year 1.

And maybe 20min per night? He’s going to be OG’s main backup.

He’s not going to be amazing until year 3-4 imho. Looking to be surprised by I think those are reasonable averages for a guy who can’t shoot.

Maybe 1-2 steals per night and 1 block? Hopefully a lot of deflections as well.

I've slightly modified my prediction from earlier this summer before the Summer League.

8.0 PPG / 2.0 APG / 4.0 REB / 1.0 STL / 1.0 BLK. 70%+ Free Throw Shooting. Based on 20 MPG.

If he puts up those numbers as a Rookie I'm ecstatic.

I think it's going to be an underwhelming stat line like that but the potential and contribution to winning will be clear.

Expecting similar numbers from Scottie with a lower 3pt%. Hoping he averages 4-5 rebs and contributes with stats across the board... the offense will come in time

don’t care what he puts up but similar to OG’s rookie stat would be my guess as well.

things i am interested in are

- attempt at least 3 threes a game or 200+ 3pt attempts this season
- play as main or secondary playmaker during most of his minutes

all about growth and experience, not production.

I'm thinking he puts up better rebounding numbers than OG.

OG was also coming off a torn ACL in his rookie season, I don't think he had the confidence in his knee all year.

Something close to his college stats, with some more rebounds.

10 PPG,
6 RPG,
4 APG,
combined 2.5 SPG/BPG

30% from three on 2 attempts

and, additionally on defense, causing a ton of missed shot and bad passes, that he's doesn't actually touch, but his presence creates.

Nurse said he was going to give him major burn, so I wouldn't be surprised if he averaged 25 mpg. So something like 10/6/3 with a steal and a block. Like others have said, I think his impact is going to go way beyond the numbers, his personality and passion is going to affect every single player in the locker room.

I hope he is given a long leash this season especially while Siakam is still recovering and that it translates to him filling up the boxscore.

Though given that stat you pulled out, Im likrly way over estimating his production.

Whether or not he meets my unusually high expectations in year 1, I promise I wont trash him. I wont judge him until after he is out of his rookie scale contract and then maybe ill starting being judgy.

Agreed. Going by what Nurse said today, I think Scottie might be able to put up around that as well. Around 10/5/2/1/0.5 on maybe 45%/25%/70%.
