Really just hoping for Ant at this point. Beal is seemingly a complacent anti-vax idiot who knows he's not winning anything, while Dame is loyal to a fault.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:
Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

Wolves aren’t trading Ant. FWIW - Wolves fans would rather trade Towns to build around Ant, if they were forced to pick one or the other.

There is no way in hell Twolves are trading Ant for Simmons. Why this keeps getting brought up is beyond delusional. Sexton is probably the guy 76ers get for Simmons or Twolves send Philly a handful of future picks with Beasley, McDaniels and some filler.

Yeah, we're delusional idiots. So go away.
No clue why posters from other boards are dropping in to decline trade offers on behalf of their team.

This drama is pretty fun. I hope we let Simmons twist in the wind to the deadline just for the show unless the Kings pony up Fox. Threaten to fine Simmons but fail to levy it, etc. See how many dumb things Doc can say in the next few months. I got my popcorn ready.

Because A-Rod wants to actually win games. Simmons is a floor raiser and has built in oncourt/offcourt chemistry with your two best players. Edwards to Philly bay bay.

Let me correct you, Sexton and 2 firsts and maybe a swap or that Minnesota package with 4 picks and 3 swaps minimum with little to no protection

If you go on the wolves board. They are just hoping to give up Beasley as the main package and future picks. They don’t even want to give up McDaniels who I have rated below Maxey and in fact he was drafted behind Maxey late last season draft.
It’s like why bother dealing with Minnesota. Oh by the way they “may need to give up Russell” who is a chucker.
Might as well settle for Portland offer.

Well the definition of a vaccine is to give your body immunity, until they changed it to protection due to the “vaccine” not doing what it was intended to do. Vaccine has made myocarditis sky rocket. So I can see why after recovering from covid he doesn’t want to inject more spike proteins in him.

Re: Ben Simmons Trade Thread part V
What do you guys think at this point, given Ben will be apparently fined for missing media day, of just not making a trade and fineing him until he eventually gives in? I highly doubt he will make it passed a half season before he caves. Would you welcome him back if he caved? Ben as a player is still better than any of the packages being offered. IMO without baggage he is worth more than Dame and equal to Beal.
What I'm saying is. Would you trade having Ben out for 30+ games as opposed to having him replaced?

Re: Ben Simmons Trade Thread part V
I'm in that boat. Just fine him until he shows up. I have zero interest in the reported deals thus far. These trades create holes we will never climb out of. Every package I see is simply the first step to the eventual Embiid trade. If we keep Simmons we don't box ourselves into that jail cell. Not wanting a circus with the media and fans isn't reason enough to take any of these hostage offers.

Re: Ben Simmons Trade Thread part V
After watching full Doc and Morey press conference, it seems that:
-there is no deal that they like and no trade will be done soon enough
-they will just fine Ben for missing games, practices, whatever
-they will run the season as if Ben never existed
Although Morey said there is a ton of hope that Ben will come back anyday, I think they just hope other teams will raise their offers, while Doc will focus on the players they have right now. And they talked about Maxey I lot, love it, I bet he’s going to start and play a big role.

Don’t think it means no trade will be done soon at all. They will talk like that until the moment he is traded no matter how close it is or how much they like the offers

Agreed. There is a lot wishful thinking going on in our board right now. The odds are higher Ben comes back than a trade being consumated in the next month or so. This will take time.
Remember what Morey said about the CBA. If Ben doesnt come back soon, it will be very bad for Ben's bank balances. He's got bills to pay due his high maintainance lifestyle.

Couldn’t disagree more, he’s never playing another game in a Sixers uniform, and morey would be saying the same things if he literally had another team on the line about to accept a deal

All of us can be true at the the same time. While I agree Ben won’t play another game for Philly, I have the same confidence Morey won’t take a bad deal for Simmons.
I just like their focus of going forward with what they have and they seem very confident about it.
Actually, I liked how all of the organization (players, Doc, Morey) handled today questions about Simmons.
No drama, no regrets, no specifics.

Yep. Morey was as tight lipped as Michael Corleone at a Senate investigation. The way Darryl carried hinself gives us confidence that he knows what he is doing.
I dont see a deal before the reg season starts. Morey will wait for the reg season rollercoaster to slap the delusion off of the faces of some of these teams. That will be the time to strike.
Ben is on a 4 year contract. If Simmons realizes this, he may even come back before this is over. That remains a looming possibility that could benefit his trade value even more.

Yup. And also look how bad vax is doing in Israel.
Im not anti-vaxx. Actually I had my parents get vaxxed.
I just dont agree to vax mandates. Because mass vax would create higher transmissions (explains the current surge) and mutations.
If you think you’re vulnerable then take the vax. But the vax isnt going to stop you from getting covid nor stop you from transmitting it.
If getting vaxxed is stopping you from getting transmission (perfect vaccines), then I’ll be all for it. But it’s not.
While i can assure you most of these guys got the covid before they were vaxed. And these vax that loses efficacy in like 8 months, is just putting more risks than benefit.
The league is just imposing this vax mandates to not be liable in case there’s a vax related casualty to a player than it is for some altruistic or community/family related reason
Overall, i respect everyone’s opinion and the league’s rules. If im a business owner, which iam, i’d also recommend my employees to get vaccinated because i dont want to be liable if anything happens to them.
But yeah, i dont want to talk about vax here so just let me post this one and if you want to talk about it we can discuss it on twitter.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.
