Im not anti-vaxx. Actually I had my parents get vaxxed.
I just dont agree to vax mandates. Because mass vax would create higher transmissions (explains the current surge) and mutations.
If you think you’re vulnerable then take the vax. But the vax isnt going to stop you from getting covid nor stop you from transmitting it.
If getting vaxxed is stopping you from getting transmission (perfect vaccines), then I’ll be all for it. But it’s not.
While i can assure you most of these guys got the covid before they were vaxed. And these vax that loses efficacy in like 8 months, is just putting more risks than benefit.
The league is just imposing this vax mandates to not be liable in case there’s a vax related casualty to a player than it is for some altruistic or community/family related reason
Overall, i respect everyone’s opinion and the league’s rules. If im a business owner, which iam, i’d also recommend my employees to get vaccinated because i dont want to be liable if anything happens to them.
But yeah, i dont want to talk about vax here so just let me post this one and if you want to talk about it we can discuss it on twitter.
Follow Monica Gandhi on Twitter. She knows her ****. The fear of waning antibodies from the vaccine is very overblown because of memory T cells.

I kind of agree with what the article says about natural immunity and it’s much better to be vaxed first then acquire natural immunity later.
Personally, I dont mind to be vaxed or to stay unvaxed. I just dont see it yet. Specially when I had covid around July (I posted it on the OT board)
Regarding Vax science..
Scientists says A
Scientists says B
Both are right, relative to time
The facts change and i respect that because we’re in a complex system. So i dont mind people changing their position.
Like when they first released the vax, they told us it will not lead to transmissions. But it did (vax that leads to transmission is called as “leaky vaccines” and this lead to mutations. Data also shows that vax rollouts lead to the mutation of the virus).
And i dont mind science changing their position. Because facts do change. So regarding this issue, it’s better to be a centrist and keep an open mind so your belief can change as soon as the facts change.
If vaccines efficacy does not wane, then what’s with all the booster shots? They are not considering double dosed as vaccinated in Israel, unless you have taken the booster. Canada is already planning to take boosters till 2024, based on Trodeau’s latest statement on their agreement with Pfizer yesterday.
For singapore, yeah there’s spike in cases, and also in deaths and hospitalization. I believe it’s higher than pre-vax singapore.
Vaccines work relative to time. Initially it works then it slowly loses its efficacy. Then you have to take boosters. Im recommending my parents to take them BTW. My guess is most will get infected without the efficacy of the vax at some point, unless people take their booster shots.
If there’s one country I think is doing well. It’s your country, India. With a low vax rate but most of the population (70%) having natural antibodies. And it shows with how they have low deaths per million compared to a lot of countries (recent coverage was overblown), no recent surge of cases relative to this recent global surge and the flu is now back.
Once the flu is back, then I guess it will be an endemic.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.
