Morey could spin it brilliantly here.

Ben: “Why haven’t I been traded yet?”

Morey: “Sorry Ben we haven’t found the right deal.”

Ben (not thinking properly): “Don’t care trade me can’t you see the point I’m trying to make.”

Morey: .... “Well the Cavs offered us 2 second rounders and Love. (Not an actual deal but Morey playing 4DGMCHESS)

Ben: “.... wtf is that all?”

(If this report is official then karma incoming)

Morey is a G if he did this.

Ben gets traded for a crap package his image and perceived value (which is drowning by the minute) around the league is sunk to the bottom.

If Ben doesn’t get traded for a crap package and no one offers up a fair sum on trade value then Ben doesn’t play and loses money and value from his own self imposed exile.

I mean this has to rank as All TIME GOAT SIXERS drama.

I seriously doubt that Simmons cares what he’s traded for

Morey needs to do his job and move him for whatever

Good catch, Garland was injured and didn't play in those games...still it was good to see him
distribute more willingly in those games.
I have to say reading all this stuff is that Sexton is the anti Ben Simmons.
It doesn't seem like Ben has worked on his game over the years. He just hasn't improved.
Sexton is a tireless worker. They said that the team had a dinner on MOnday night (Media day)
and it wrapped up later in the evening and after it Sexton got into the gym at 9 pm and got his work out in
at that point. I'm torn on this trade talk ...sometimes I feel like I'd do Sexton for Simmons and other times
I don't think Simmons really loves the game so I don't want him.

..imagine how good he can be if he falls in love with the game.

If he shows incapable to love the game, would he demand a bigger role in a team built around him?

Garland and Evan Mobley works best with a guy like Ben.

Look at the common denominator.
Murray, Jokic
Zach, Vuc
DLo, KAT

What’s next is to get another high volume perimeter scorer to play with Garland. Maybe Buddy Hield or Malik Beasley.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

League sources say the primary motivation for Klutch Sports’ aggressive holdout is to steer him to a team built around him on offense. No matter the roster makeup in Philly, he will only ever be no. 2 as long as Embiid is healthy.

But Simmons didn’t make that clear during the meeting. At one point, Rivers asked if the problem was his offensive role. Simmons simply responded “no.”

Rivers shared how he planned to use Simmons this upcoming season anyway: Embiid and Simmons would stagger minutes more often, and when Embiid came off the floor, Simmons would play the 5, sharing the frontcourt with Tobias Harris and new addition Georges Niang. Rivers said he wanted to put Simmons in more situations that resemble Giannis Antetokounmpo’s role in Milwaukee, with four shooters surrounding him, empowering him to be a primary scoring option with the second unit. Rivers and Morey, according to sources, said that Simmons and Embiid are the best defensive duo in basketball, and with some slight tweaks, they could be even more productive on the offensive end. Simmons wasn’t enthused.

oh man this situation keeps getting funnier

"Simmons does indeed feel slighted by comments made by Rivers and Joel Embiid following Philadelphia’s playoff series loss to the Hawks, sources said. But his decision wasn’t based on that, or the backlash from Philly fans, or the fact that the Sixers tried to trade him for James Harden. The Sixers brass left the meeting feeling Simmons had essentially said, “It’s not you, it’s me.”

Morey job isn't to move him for whatever. His job is to take a good offer and if none comes because of Ben antics not only play hardball with Ben but the rest of the league as well.

Lol that was my offseason plan if we decide to keep Ben.

Stagger Ben and Biid’s minutes more often. Let Ben play that Giannis role with a stretch 5, then inflate his numbers until we trade him to the bighest bidder
