NBA players catch all the flak, but MLB guys have had some of the most pathetic injuries.

Add it to the list!

You get in a fight with a wall, you don't hit it with your pitching hand!

If I get angry I might punch a wall and fracture my hand so I’m gonna laugh at how moronic this is. I’m sure he feels like **** so that’s punishment enough.

Also seems like the perfect time to say… Be Milwaukee.

I mean, dude has zero percent chance to pitch again this postseason right?

I'm surprised more off the field injuries don't happen. I mean this is idiotic but I've gotten stitches a few times on my hands (minor boat injury, cutting cheese like a moron, etc). Nothing serious and only a few stitches but definitely feel there is scar build up. So not only would that sideline me for a month or two as a pitcher, but there's some long-term numbness where if it was a pitcher of his caliber I'm sure there would be minor effects on his career.

I wanted to punch a wall when I saw this news break.

Seems odd that he'd do it randomly after celebrating a win. It makes me wonder if that's the full story or if the wall was actually someone's face.

In the interview with Stearns he suggested that maybe the timeline would work out for him to return in the World Series but I personally doubt it...it would be a good problem to have, though.
