I truly don’t see a deal between Philly and Washington, Beal probably isn’t signing that extension and costing himself money, trading Ben+ for an expiring is an insane risk. Especially if you trade 4 years of Ben and 7-8 years of Maxey for him and he walks

Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean anything. Beal can make more money if he waits until the off-season to resign. The only reason he’d sign for less now would be security. Or I suppose if he wanted to get traded this off-season instead of next? But he’s getting paid even if he’s hurt at this point honestly. So doesn’t make any sense for him to sign the extension.

I like how responding to a leak from your camp is somehow a diss against you.

The fact that people want Biid to lie is pretty insane.

Nothing he has said was a lie…. Including saying he likes playing with Ben. You can want to play with some and still calm them out on their bull. Just like you can think Ben has issues and yet not want to just take whatever for him.

With Brett fired and now soon Simmons traded, this team will finally be enjoyable again, can't wait to root for Sixers instead of having to see two Bums ruin our team.

Joel is on record saying he wants to model his game after KD. Not sure where you made up this nonsese from?

Let’s assume after this all blows over, Ben stays basically the same player he’s been over his career: elite defense, 16/8/8, 60% FT%, refuses to shoot. Does he get another max contract when the time comes?

At least he gets it with Joel completely and will put him in position to be an mvp candidate year after year. He’s average and not great at PR but so far so good on Joel. Hopefully year two with Tobias will keep in the right direction as well
