Nah, he'll end up in MIN or HOU. MIN is the better fit and they actually have a few pieces that make sense for that PHI roster.

I'd guess it's more about loyalty to KD than to the Nets. Granted, Harden was traded from OKC but I'm sure KD was against that move, big time. All accounts were/are these guys are good friends. If any team were willing to shake it up so late in the offseason it would be them.

I don't think it's unwise for a other teams to be tentative about a guy who melted down and then pointed his finger at everybody else on the way out the door. Good time to act if you really want him, but seems like nobody wants him more than Philly right now.

McCollum and filler looks pretty good right now.

I know he doesnt do it as a play maker, but freeing up Simmons salary slot gives them future options.

Nobody wants Simmons as much as Philly wants back for him in their odd effort to save face.

The thing everyone is missing in all this is it has to be remedied by 12/25 so Philly can go after another Xmas Day Champs banner.

Timberwolves and their fans seem to want him really bad, I feel Indiana would love to get him for Brogdon and filler. The way I see it is everybody is trying to lowball the **** outta Philly because they feel like Philly has no leverage, but Philly is using the only leverage they have left which is 4(!!!) years left on his deal. Philly is probably trying to get him to come in and go through the motions while the wolves, trailblazers(CJ not Dame) and pacers start off slow and get what they want before the deadline.

The difference is you usually want the long guys as defenders, and Gafford might be the only + defender, and will he play a lot?

the problem for most teams is making the $ match, without adding bad contracts that Philly wouldn't want.
