im not sleeping on Kemba. 28 ppg last 6 games of last season. This man brings pull up 3s, and actual pick and roll play. we havent had real point guard play in years. Boston had him as the #3 option. With the knicks hes either 1 or 2. He can be himself here surrounded by non ball dominant shooters.

Remember Elfrid Payton bum self was the PG.

Payton And Reggie wasnt all that. i watched them get walked by. its team defense and we good at that. Do not forget the lack of scoring and multi facet players we lacked. You have to guard us this year.

idk. I'm sceptical about Kemba, but he has played with Fournier and I think the two of them are smart enough to figure out what to do on offence. And Thibs is supposed to save the Knicks on D. I don't see any of IQ, RJ or Obi as an upgrade on D.

In theory Fournier should have been a steal and break out to be the Knicks main guy this year - although that might create problems regarding Fournier x Jules.

Overall, I'm of the "the team will be better but finish with a lower standing" school of thought. Tho' I really would have kept Reggie Bullock rather than Burks once Kemba and Fournier were recruited. For defence, but also for more rounded offence. [But this last bit is just episode #47 of I don't rate Burks as highly as thebuzzardman, so ... w/e.]

I would have no problem with the roster if they fired thibs and hired an offensive coach

Thibs would gain my respect if he actually gives minutes to McBride and Grimes for defense but a roster with Kemba Rose Fournier Burks all asking for minutes doesnt seem built for a defensive coach like thibs

Y’all call Mitch fat when none of y’all have even see him in person while Randle and Thibs have complemented his new physique because they actually have seen him in person lol

We are not going to fire the reigning defending coach of the year and we will not be playing scrub rookies over established nba players

yep.. It would have been pointless unless we could get someone else to join him. I guess Durant might have come without Kyrie if AD was here but I think the trade was Mitch and 8 to the Warriors to move up for LaMelo. Which I think was a real trade that was talked about before the draft. We could have had a long term solution at PG instead of our Rose/ Kemba stop gap and LaMelo is definitely someone with star potential. It also coulda definitely saved us from another season of Elfrid Payton too.

Are you completely oblivious to the fact that picking 8th wouldn't have gotten LaMelo?

We wouldn’t have been picking at 8 cuz we traded that pick and Mitch for 2 to grab LaMelo. As Deez pointed out there was a Wiseman rumor that was floating around too. Which would have been way more terrible.

So you think the Knicks would trade Mitch and 8 for 4 and then they would trade Mitch again along with 4 for 2?
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.
