Monk looks like he will get the starting nod for the Lakers eventually this season if not on debut.

Doubt it. Looks like a Lou Williams role more than a starting 2. Still major concerns about that spot. I wonder if they eventually go

I see Bazemore as a natural backup for THT.

I think it starts as:

Westbrook, Ellington, THT, LeBron, Davis

I don't see THT and Ellington breaking the starting rotation for a Vogel team, but I'm not sure. I would do the lineup I presented above, then sub out Lebron and Ariza early for Monk and Melo. Then Lebron starts the second at PG with Nunn, THT, whomever, and Dwight.

My closing lineup is probably most often Russ, Monk, Baze, Lebron, AD. They're my starters in 2K and they're unstoppable because they run like hell. I just go on 19-0 runs in the 4th.

I think THT is expected to be the starting lockdown perimeter defender. I think Lakers just need a 3-shooting threat to provide spacing that's why I add Ellington but it could be Bazemore that starts for more defense if needed.

Yea I think LeBron will sub early. More likely that Westbrook and Davis stay for first quarter.

I'm not so sold on Ariza and Melo yet for this team, whether they will even play in first quarter at all. That's where we differ I think.

I wouldn't expect the Rook to have a great season but yeah Mills will operate well with Millsap/Aldridge. Mills has chemistry built up with Aldridge

didn't see the game but I'm guessing this was day 1 of so many people finding out how bad current DJ is. Doesn't even have brains to make up for any of it.

Cam Thomas looks like a steal. Guy has all the confidence in the world and is a bonafide scorer. Aldridge was another big pick up. Crazy depth this year.
