Weird but true. Also on Bally's. I'm guessing Marques isn't doing preseason so probably Novak

I don't think you understand the term "chucker". That's a player who takes I'm advised shots. Nwora is a shot maker, that's a good thing.

Maybe I don’t. I do know that whenever he gets his hands on the ball, he’s getting a shot up. Chucker, ball hog, player with terrible shot selection lol call it whatever you want. I know that’s your guy and I admit he might be one of the better shooters already. Maybe he would look good next to some starters but I just don’t see it with him.

What don't you like? You don't like highly efficient scoring? How is talking shots you consistently make poor shot selection?
Is it Semis hip injury from Jrues screen 6 months back? Or a different injury?PANDEMONEUM wrote:went to the scrimmage.
no Hood, Semi, Giannis.
Giorgos is smaller than i thought.
idk if he can play SF even.
JOB isnt good. hes not going to make the team.
maybe Semis injury is major enough, only reason i can see job getting the spot.
everyone missed open shots.
a bit annoying.
i saw some new plays, kind of exciting that we even ran plays.

While it's not as bad as basing an opinion on his very small sample of summer league games where he was highly inefficient, it's pretty bad to assume he will be efficient based on a small sample of largely garbage-time minutes in his rookie year.
At best you can be hopeful, but I don't see how he's going to get any minutes this year unless probably multiple players on the roster are injured or cut.

He started a couple games, played big minutes in another, and his start lines actually improved in those games.
He's definitely in the rotation this year. Who would be ahead of him?

A dude that can step in and randomly score 15-20 while not sinking your team..that'll do
Rudy Gay has averaged just over 10ppg the last 4 years. So a guy that can come in and randomly put up 10-12 points while also not being a defensive stalwart. Basically I’m just hoping Hood still has a midrange game for when Mids isn’t on the floor.
Semantics are fun. An effective veteran on a minimum deal is very valuable. Hood may be done but he is young enough and was good enough not that long ago that the move could pay off very well. Considering that the team doesn't need him to produce, it seems like a pretty good risk/lottery ticket to me.

So I ask what is the latest on DDV, All I could find with google, is a update from aldridge behind a paywall, in late September that basically said he hadn't been cleared for camp yet. I wasn't sure if I should read into yet. I also realized that I really only know he had ankle surgery on ligament damage, and never really established a normal recovery timeframe for whatever the specific procedure was.
