I had an Atlantic City poker dealer (who was around 6’ tall) tell me he stood near Iverson when he was a player and gambling in AC.

He said it in on very good authority that Iverson was not over 5’10”.

Nate "Tiny" Archibald and Earl "the Pearl" Monroe are devistated at not being able to join this poll I am sure. They might miss by an inch or so but spiritually they are totally a part fo this crew.

It makes me laugh because I am sure some of these guys in the past and others who are not in consideration have for one reason or another fudged the "official" height number and now it's coming back to haunt them. There probably isn't a single listed 5'11 guy in the league, dudes will be like come on coach let me just tell my fans its 6' even.

Indeed. Iverson was measured for some international competition where his official height was around that 178 or so which is a hair over 5'10.

Kind of confused here. Lowry's official barefoot height now that doctors have to submit height info 183 cm or 6 ft and half an inch. Same for Team USA.

Also, Larry Brown said Iverson was 5'10" barefoot.

I saw him play live. He like a few others has shown that short guys can dominate certain parts of the game. I'm under the impression he has the best career mark for assist/to or steals/to. He's so much shorter, that he could just take over your dribble before it bounced up high enough for you to handle it again. He did that a lot - just take over people's dribble and go.
