I'm really liking Ant's defense. I'm just missing his drives to the basket (I don't think he even tried once in the first half).

Play these guys in the 2nd. We don't need to see how the 3rd team looks -- we need to see how our top lineups look

If Okogie can be an average or better 3pt shooter it would really change things for the team. Forcing his defender to actually defend him out the 3pt line would allow him to play a much bigger role.

Spectacular defense. If we could rebound, Pels wouldn’t have more than 35. 13 offensive boards is too many to give up to a Pels team without Zion.

With just 5 minutes or so on the court action I am sold on Beverly,Edwards,Okogie,McDaniels & Towns as what should be our starting five.By far the best defensive grouping and Edwards/Towns is more then enough of a scoring punch as long as Okogie & Beverley can hit a few open shots.

I know it would be extremely hard to do putting a $30M per year player on the bench but have felt for awhile now that Russell would be ideal as a 6th man and in that role could be the best ever.Think a supped up version of Jamal Crawford or Lou Williams.Plus adding a running mate along side him in Beasley.

He's shooting 100% from 3 so far. :D

Wouldn't make any rash decisions against a horrible Pelicans defense

If McDaniels struggles, I could see Prince starting. He has a track record of knocking down shots.

Beasley has done nothing. Understandable coming off injury and then probably not getting a full offseason in due to serving his sentence.

No Nowell?

How badly were we outrebounded during that 5 minutes?

I think if the Wolves don't have one of KAT/DLO/Ant on the court they are going to have to play Nowell. The rest of the bench players just don't have any capability to create shots.

McDaniels is even worse than RCov at creating, wasn't too excited when he was doing more of that in summer league

bingo, I always see people weirdly describe Beasley as being the "6th man", scorer off the bench, its not his game

he's more of a JJ Redick type

The Leandro Bolmero era has begun. Go Wolves.
