If you watched the game he clearly didn't. Had a stretch where he missed 4 easy shots in a row/took tough shots but played good defense, showed extreme range on the three, hustled, made good passes. Rookie mistakes will definitely happen and going against Marcus Smart/Robert Williams is a good first welcoming.

Suggs really does give me George Hill vibes, which is nothing to scoff at. Just not sure I see a lead guard in Suggs.

Blazers will never be good at D when they are playing 3 6’4 and under players in their starting 5. Just trade CJ for Simmons and get it over with.

As a ceiling? I don't see that at all. Floor, if everything goes not to plan.. sure. He's playing de facto point because Fultz is injured but will be a combo guard. I see more Jrue than anything since his instincts are pretty elite already. Shot will come and go in my opinion but every game he isn't going to be against Smart + a big shot blocker.

Isaiah Joe always impresses me when he gets minutes, might actually be the most promising youngster for us atm (Sixers). Is small for a wing (great wingspan so he plays above his size) but if he can transition over to defending the guard spot he’ll be a player.

Just really good iq over all parts of the court. Like him

to be honest, i am more surprised of what Precious can do, in today's game. he's got 3 point range and a jumper - albiet still a work in progress but he looked good doing it.

bringing iggy back was a good move. He knows the system so well. Night and day difference between his decisions and what some of these scrubs call offense. They just run up and jack the first 3 like it's houston.

didnt watch but the moment masai took barnes over suggs something was up. i mean suggs would have to be roy to out play draft position. and he has less margin of error to make mistakes bc hes a higher floor type. barnes should be the one struggling.
this is not just suggs. kuminga too sort of red flag when okc didnt blink an eye not that i think giddey is any good.
