My issues with Lukaku still remain. And why I was against the signing.

He's completely foiled our press that blitzed Europe and the league with Tuchel, and we don't have the playmakers to give him adequate service. I'd much rather have preferred investing in Lautaro or Felix, or spending for Chiesa or Olmo or Sane and just letting Kai develop as a F9.

Mount/Kai/Timo running at defenses was the highlight of our attack, and even if they weren't the most clinical, the amount of xG and chances they racked up was just overwhelming.

Now we have the Belgian Oliver Giroud standing like a statue pointing to his feet 24/7 and refusing to press because he's immobile(/bougee). Lame.

Saúl is also midfield choice #6 now. Thank god it was just an option to buy, you'll be back playing LWB for Simeone again soon.

So a player who can't make the England Squad is better than the starting central midfielder for the number 1 team in the world.

Good result. Press was back without Batshu- I mean Lukaku walking around the final third.

Asides from Mount, Reece James, Kova and Hudson-Odoi who all popped, I was super impressed with the Ross Barkley and RLC cameos. Intriguing players.

Nice try @HIF @DanielAmartey

Honestly though injuries are hurting Lester bad. They could have used Barnes, but especially Tea Lemons and Fofana

Best English CB prospect I've ever seen. He's outrageous, and the fact that he's left footed is doubly dangerous.

Potentially having a backline consisting of Colwill/Christensen/James/Livramento/Chalobah and all of them being homegrown is ridiculous.

1) Håland ( lol not happening)
2) Lukaku (not happening and do not want)
3) Aurelian Tchouameni ( Dream signing, 21 year old Casemiro. Reports saying Petr Cech loves him - but they're going to wait another year. So sad about that)
4) Camavinga (I think he's slightly overhyped, but if we hijack united. cool)
5) Edmond Tapsoba (Interesting. I think he's an upgrade over Zouma only of our cb's, but he's young and been performing at a high level)
6) Maxence Lacroix (Need him at la Chels now)
7) Jules Kounde (Indifferent)
8) Declan Rice (Never enter Cobham again. Awful player)
9) Lewa (Yup, only other 9 I'd take that isn't Håland. Thiago Silva signing v2. Him and Kai would run rampant)

Feels good knowing I wanted no parts of Lakaka.

How can you see City and Pool boss the league for better parts of a decade with false 9's that can press and have remarkable tec and then go and spend 100 million on a tree with little mobility that pouts around the pitch cause he isn't getting service.

Chelsea won't be a serious club again until they get a true DOF.

None of these attackers bar Havertz are long term investment worthy.

These midfielders are crown jewels. Kova/Kante/Jorgi are world class. Saul is showing promise. Billy Gilmour looks like a good one, need him back. RLC has been fine.

The defenders are carrying this club. Rudiger, must be kept. Devastating loss if he departs. Silva, best defender of his generation idc. What a legend. We'd be shambles without him. Christensen, huge mobile can play line breaking passes, arial threat. Why isn't he locked up. Chalobah, good depth. Chilwell was playing some of his best football before he went down. Reece James has immense potential. And this isn't even considering Levi Colwill and Valentino Livramento who look like future studs. This group will keep us relevant.

Mendy, elite shot stopper.

We need to be City esque ruthless is just pumping money into these attackers until we get it right. Werner can be a depth option. Lukaku is a dinosaur. Mount, passion merchant. Ziyech, has a good game once in a blue moon and then drops a shocker. Pulisic, even more bipolar than Ziyech. Hudson-Odoi, that achilles rupture ruined his career.

I don't know what needs to be done, but we need a revitalized group up top.

I suggest you spend another £4bn dollars on players in order to qualify for the CL.

Half the team was academy players. Can Leicester even afford to run one?
