I can't get over how bad ESPN's main baseball broadcast is. A-Rod brought up Cole winning next years cy young with one out left in the top of the 9th. Dude could barely put a sentence together either.

So Joe West is retiring after the playoffs. Why the hell is that hack even umping playoffs? I'll be pissed if he's on our series.

Hey, casual baseball fan here, known for making the occasional jokey joke post, but this here is a serious question. What happened to the Padres? Weren't they supposed to be amazing this season?

One more: Are the Brewers good enough to win the World Series or are the Giants gonna win?

The Padres got baseballed...and happen to be in the same division as The Dodgers and Giants.

Williams being an idiot definitely hurts the brewer's chances. They always needed some luck and now they need a whole lot more. It's baseball though so anything is possible.

The Padres got baseballed...and happen to be in the same division as The Dodgers and Giants.

That big losing streak of theirs started with Arizona and Colorado, which was pathetic, but yeah it was crazy how 2/3 of September was just them playing LAD and SF. Tough to bounce back against that.

This has been a good game. I hope they play until 8am in the morning.
