I honestly don't get all the Ben Simmons negativity. You want to say he is a good fit here or his contract stinks.....ok fine
I think a guy who was ROY, made 3x all star teams, 2x all NBA defense and more deserves some respect on his name.
I get that he had a bad showing in the playoffs, but so did Joe. I don't see Joe getting buried under the bus.

Usually I would not post anything from these windbags, but on this clip, Perk and Stephen A are implying that Kyrie told KD and the Nets that he was going to get vaccinated and then reneged. If that's true, KD needs to make a serious decision here because if Kyrie is allowed to burn this season to the ground, James Harden is gone.

You have to understand that a lot comes with Ben too. You need right environment and players for him to be effective. On paper there's only three teams that most likely be able to handle that, GSW, Blazers and BK. Imo other teams will have to make moves in order to make him effective player.
Best case scenario is a trade for Dame straight up. Ben most likely push. Him just retire will be huge blow. You also consider the fact we lost Din for nothing... man don't get me started with this flat earthing looney tunes.
Y'all need to stop listening to bums like Nick and SAS etc. Them clowns spit nonsense in order to accommodate their agenda. For example, this trade Ben for Kyrie is complete lunacy period. Not only division teams almost never trade within division, they also didn't take into account Morye and Kyrie's personalities. Them dumb dumb 's who run with it have no clue what they talking about. Both of them stubborn af and always think they right. There is no logic with them, like at all.

It's toxic. At this point I want him off the team for good. Don't get it twisted, if Kyrie won't get vaccinated, there is a good chance both KD and Harden will walk. Things change every day.

He sabotaging the team. There's really no way around it.
^this is not sustainable.
Reading between the lines here, I don't think KD is supportive of Kyrie not being available as we're being told.

MDB both of us grown man now, you know exactly what's going on. If we connecting dots from what been said it's not perfect at all. KD and Harden not giving up on a season is not an issue here. You know they feel certain way about Kyrie right now. It directly affects their lives, f game, lives. They counted on him.
?s=20
Reading between the lines here too. Tsai, Marks, KD and Harden already moving from Kyrie and getting ready for the season. This is not good by any means. As I said, it can get ugly after this season. Kyrie did damage even if he gets vaccinated at some point. I mean just listen to what Harden said about his FA.

I agree, the damage is done here. I wouldn't trust Kyrie if I was James Harden. KD, yes. KD is the ultimate professional. But Kyrie is now becoming dead weight and a distraction. If he's not going to do what he has to do to get on the court, he's not serious about winning. Superstars who want to win titles aren't going to put up with this childish nonsense.
I like that line up personally. Harden/Joe/KD/JJ/LMA? Who is stopping that? we can hide Joe on the opponent's weakest offensive player and JJ can take on the toughest match up. Then off the bench we've got Bala Patty and the goons. Kyrie can sit home and watch YouTube for all I care, I hope the Nets take this to court to have his contract voided so we can get cap space. Let Young Boy Cam get a crack at the rotation.
If we win a title this year despite Kyrie, I think Harden stays.

Okay, so now Los Angeles has just passed a strict vaccine mandate that, you guessed it, requires proof of vaccination to attend bars, gyms, concerts and indoor events.
So now, that is 2 games versus the Clips and Lakers that he can't play in, and in the event that we make the finals versus the Lakers, that's it. He would miss the entire NBA finals.
He needs to get the hell off of this team.

Kyrie is mentally ill, and the unfortunate thing is paranoid ideation is very resistant as the people closest that try to help are often perceived as co-conspirators and never even know it.

What you believe have nothing to do with State mandates. Currently there is 98% of nba players being vaccinated, unvaccinated players will be deducted if they miss games. Currently there are 5 teams that require it, I expect that number to grow.

I know. I’m saying Kyrie if he decided to stay unvaxxed would be able to play road games in vaccine mandated states other than NY

No, San F and LA beside NY won't allow him on a court. Was watching CBS earlier today, some analysts said Illinois and Michigan probably will enforce it too most likely.

One of my best friends is like this. Dude swallows up every conspiracy theory that he comes across if the messenger is a Black man. He thinks that the earth is flat and that they used CGI back in the 60s to fool everyone to make it look round. He thinks that there is a media agenda to emasculate Black men and turn us all into homosexuals so that we stop procreating, and he is scared that if his son watches Korean boy band videos with his daughter, the videos will program him to be gay. I've had numerous discussions with him over his paranoia and frankly disgusting homophobia (yet he swears he's not) but it's like talking to a brick wall. You can imagine how my pleading with him to get vaccinated went.
I gave up on him. I cannot imagine what kind of craziness KD is dealing with right now.

Say what you want about Ben Simmons. I’d take 82 games of him over at best 30 something games of Irving. Not to mention the distraction and havoc it may cause with Irving in and out of the lineup.

Re: If Push Came to Shove... (Irving Trade)
Kyrie essentially put this thing together, even more than Sean Marks.
He's the reason KD signed with the Nets and Harden shot his way out of Houston to Brooklyn, taking a real hit to his reputation for awhile, but he was that determined to join KD and Kyrie and win a ring with the Nets. But NONE OF THIS happens without Kyrie choosing the Nets and convincing his friends to join him.
Well THEY DID, and right now he is screwing them over worse than I've ever seen in my life, in any sport.
I have literally never seen one teammate orchestrate something like this, then leave everybody hanging.
As a kid I was raised around gangsters. I didn't pick the world and neighborhood I was born into and I'm certainly not bragging about it, but that's the world I was born into and I knew guys who would kill you for beating them to the Jukebox. I mean the worst of the worst, and EVEN THOSE GUYS were more loyal to their friends than Kyrie.
Kyrie is not a narcissist. That doesn't even scratch the surface. This dude is a malignant narcissist.

Re: If Push Came to Shove... (Irving Trade)
I don't buy the Knicks homer SAS narrative that he picked Brooklyn and KD agreed. There were reports that Marks and company thought they were getting KD when he went to GSW. KD picked his destination, and if it wasn't Kyrie it would have been somebody else along for the ride. We've seen other Friends of Kevin come and go. I don't think Kyrie is on sacred ground. He just has a longer leash.
