good to see if you play center for Dallas, you still get to dunk the ball a lot with Luka handing you points. Even without their best roll man Dwight Powell, both Gilmore and WCS just feasting at the rim.

Man there's going to be a lot of teams that are going to kick themselves for letting Sharife Cooper make it out of the lottery let alone the 1st round. Dude has superstar potential.

Jokic is in the best shape of his life, never been leaner and stronger than right now.

Think he maxes out as a bench piece. Only so far you can go at barely 6 feet and a broken jumpshot in the NBA.

I’m sure Suggs will get better with experience and time, but for being the guy who was supposed to be the most NBA ready with his skillset the performances haven’t been impressive

Still have no doubt he’ll be good tho

Rookies look better this year b/c (a) they are, but (b) training camp. Jared Butler looking like a revelation for Utah, but he's not the only one who is playing like an absolute monster.

Suggs was playing against bench guys and he looked god awful. Couldn't take a single player off the bounce to gain even the slightest advantage in the half-court. Like you said, Suggs was supposed to be the can't miss / highest floor / safest pick in the draft. Not calling him a bust after 2 pre-season games, but it just goes to show you how much you can trust those smug "draft experts" like Sam Vecenie, who are hilariously wrong, year after year after year.

I didn’t get to actually watch the game so I’m just looking at the stat sheet. I recall he was highly touted as a prospect who brings a lot of intangibles that don’t really show on the stat sheet (similar to guys like Lowry, Smart, Draymond, etc).

Did you get to watch the game? Was he able to at least impact the game in ways that didn’t show up in the stat sheet?

Otto Porter is going to average 45-48% from 3 this year next to Curry/Klay/Poole (Poole due to this newfound aggressiveness + drive and dish ability... he's going to be a guy teams will need to plan for this season).

Did you actually read my post? I just made up sh**t about Suggs not being able to gain advantage off the dribble from boxscores, because I'm a basketball savant. Smh.

In terms of impact, Suggs was absolutely terrible, so yeah he definitely impacted the game. It was pretty close actually, until Suggs entered in the second half and the Pels blew it wide open with Suggs as the primary ballhandler off the bench. He'll be much better in the future, for sure, but this is one to forget tonight.

Trey Murphy is a stud already. He already looks like an elite shooter, and he’s a long 6’9 multi position defender. He’s going to give us so much lineup versatility.

NAW is ready to breakout.
