Less Burks and Summers is a huge win. We just need Smith to play at a JAG level next to Campbell.

Wonder if he has any use in blitz packages

Good for awhile? Huh he was a pro bowl LB just last year was having a off year in 21 but up until this season he was very good from what i read

He's a pro bowler like Evan Engram and Mitchell Trubisky are pro bowlers. And that was 2 years ago, not last year

He's completely garbage against the run. Good in pass coverage tho so he could be of some use

I won't pretend to know how good Smith is or was, but if we take PFF grades as an indicator this year, he is the #13 rated LB. He is extremely poorly rated run defense, but extremely good pass defense. There is definitely a way to use this guy, maybe we just try to not ask him to do too much he sucks at and use him where he seems to be very good.

Also, Campbell is having an incredible year so far, very good signing. Hoping it continues.

Yepp, he has some qualities. Could be a good pairing with Campbell who's been reading everything almost perfectly (something Jaylon struggles with against the run)

So he's good at things that the packers are notoriously terrible at? covering backs out of the backfield.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

So if Alexander misses an extended period of time, they have to go out and trade for a starting caliber CB, right?

Signed a corner, Rasul Douglas…

Oops, I guess this was a couple days ago. He’s bigger and slow, sounds like King. Hope we didn’t give him a $4M signing bonus too.

Tim Harris.....one of my favorites growing up!

Him and Chuck Cecil were my favorites until Sterling Sharpe came along.

Which is too bad because he was a lot of fun to watch and probably my favorite WR from that time period. Why did he have to be so spiteful for the last 10 years :noway:

He really has the perfect last name for a defensive player :)

Hope he still has a little left in the tank.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

GB loves these cheap signings. Impact signing, too, with Z and a couple backup edges possibly out for the season.

Low risk signing. My brother sent me this that tempered my expectations though
