Spurs gets 2 rebuild prospects and big savings for 33-year veteran

NUGGETS
In: WCS
Out: Campazzo

Positional adjustment..they are loaded with guards and lack a defensive 5 ..

NOP
In: Burke (TPE) / 2 round
Out: Nothing

Pelicans gets a scorer for the Bank in Melli's TPE ... and a 2 for assuming the salary

MAVS
In: Thad / Campazzo (TPE)
Out: WCS / Burke / Terry / Green / 2 round

Mavs cover holes..get a floor general for the bench and a complement for KP on the frontcourt

I don't think the value is off or anything. I just don't think it's the right form for other teams. Spurs don't need middling prospects in a 1 for 2 swap. Pelicans have plenty of guards and so many picks that a 2nd doesn't move the needle. With Murray out, not sure DEN wants to move a PG.

It doesn't make sense for the Spurs. They are playing guys like Vassell at PF now because they have too many guards. They really don't want more.

Looks like the Mavs just overpay for two meh players.

I have no idea why Nuggets would trade Campazzo for WCS. That's an easy dealbreaker.
