Blaming the Wuhan lab is all fine and dandy, but won't stop the pandemic.

You're correct. We have to thank the unvaccinated. Otherwise there'd be a risk of less people getting infected/hospitalized/dead, or the economy recovering, or other calamities like that.

If the pandemic was an act of international bioterrorism, what is the logic of anti mask and anti vaccination movement? Honestly curious to hear an explanation how someone can reconcile these two viewpoints.

The same people responsible for the virus are telling us to wear a mask and vaccinate. You don’t see a problem with that? My god, so many people are blinded by politics.

If I were a bioterrorist, I'd make sure my lab wasn't in my back yard. But that's just my opinion

Being unvaccinated has nothing to do with politics, but the people blaming the unvaccinated are nearly all liberals…

So insane logic is the explanation. Thank you, that clears up everything.

BTW, nobody “told” me to get the vaccine and I’ve never seen a representative of Wuhan lab in person or via media tell me to mask up or get vaccine either. I saw the carnage first hand and raced to get at front of line for vaccine as soon as I could. As far as masks, it was clear the early adopters of masks in Japan and S.Korea and at Mass General Hospital for example were getting much less Covid than elsewhere. I was wearing one even when Fauci was still saying they weren’t necessary.

Wait, what’s the problem here? Because the virus may have come from a Chinese lab, we shouldn’t trust American doctors on vaccines and masks? What? Huh?

I'm not gonna put words in anyone's mouth, but I think we both know the logical conclusion to this premise.

There is no evidence that the unvaccinated are to blame for anything. I’m not talking about stopping it.

Here's the way I've seen it: Majority of covid patients in hospital are unvaccinated --> people with non-covid illnesses/injuries can't get admitted to hospital. If more people were vaccinated, hospitals wouldn't be as full (tho thankfully the numbers as of the last couple of weeks finally seem to be declining).

I dunno if that's "blaming" the unvaccinated, but do you disagree with that line of thinking?

So this is all about stopping hospitals from filling up? I don’t buy it. This is all about people sitting up on their high horses trying to tell people how to live. All these mandates are pathetic, I’m not on board with any of that BS.

If it's not the Unvaccinated that spread it.
Then, how did everybody get it?

The Mandates, are only about slowing the Spread of the Virus.
If there was No Virus, then there would be No Mandate.

I think it's less about "how to Live", and more about how not to Die, and how not to Kill anyone else.

Where do you live, that you don't see this?
The Pandemic is all over the World, by Definition.

1. I am NOT a liberal on most things - just an overwhelmingly informed, smarter than **** academic physician - with a social conscience - who has devoted my career to excellence & truth in medicine & science.
2. Scarlet just joined the select group of morons/conspiracists/selfish mother **** whose posts related to Covid or basketball or star gazing I will try never to view again.
3. I have stayed out of this thread for awhile because the blatantly willful ignorance of a few of our posters is beyond intolerable. BT & SD & Can, I did my best for a long time. I suggest that you ignore these dimwits as well.
