Idk if it's a suggestion or a rumor or w/e, but I doubt it's an offer Indiana is willing to make unless Philly is sending something good back with Simmons. Indiana should be asking for Maxey or Thybulle attached to that, so if they're actually willing to trade Levert and Brogdon, the holdup might be that Philly doesn't want to give up Maxey or Thybulle on top of Simmons.

Sounds like the deals is Levert and Brogdon for Simmons.

Would be shocked if Morey took this deal now. Would kill any chance of acquiring even an all star (forget getting a superstar). While solid guys, limited upside and really really injury prone.

That said, if this happened, have to go all in on acquiring Sabonis. He doesn’t fit with Simmons at all. And while the defensive fit wouldn’t be idea here, he’d cure the rebounding issues and the offense would be elite.

Agree completely…I’m a big fan of Sabonis. I’ll be vilified for saying this but I’d offer the same package for him as I would for Simmons.

I don't think they both were offered. The day this "rumor" came out there were two other rumors. One was saying Philly was inquiring about Brogdon and the other rumor said Philly was inquiring about LeVert. I think someone misunderstood and combined the two rumors.

Levert is injury prone, but Steph Curry was injury prone until he wasn't. I didn't know about Brogdon. All I know is he is really good.

Levert is injury prone, but Steph Curry was injury prone until he wasn't. I didn't know about Brogdon. All I know is he is really good.

LeVert has not had a healthy season since his Freshman year of college in 2012.

2013-14: Stress fracture in his foot. Out 3 months.
2014-15: Reinjured the foot. Lost for the season after 18 games.
2015-16: Different "lower leg injury". Lost for the season after 15 games.
2016-17: Rookie year. Missed his first 20 games rehabbing.
2017-18: Missed 10 games with knee and groin injuries. This is the closest he's ever been to healthy.
2018-19: Severe right leg injury (subtalar dislocation of the right foot.) Missed 42 games.
2019-20: Thumb injury cost him 27 games.
2020-21: Kidney and knee problems cost him 26 games.
1 week ago: Diagnosed with a stress fracture in his back.

His body is held together by prayers and duct tape. And he's just not that good. He's a guy that can do a bit of everything, but nothing exceptionally.

I'd be careful about hoping he reports if I were Morey.
He might have a mental breakdown or just go full Mark Madsen and chuck a bunch of ugly 3's.

Brogdon and Lavert are nice average supporting players who are always injured, not needle movers.
It will probably come down to what kind of draft pick package Morey is willing to settle for attached to whatever stopgap salary filler is the best short term fit. I don't see a lot of teams willing to help him out in a 3-teamer with the ridiculous offers he's reportedly throwing out there.
