Yeah. 1993 still burns me -- year before the wild card started. But I second you wholeheartedly on how good it is to make the Dodgers all-time win record a second-place finish.

93 is what I was thinking about too.

107 wins, lead the MLB all year but still couldn't celebrate until the last out of the last game.

Oh well, they get a few more games before they have to go home.

All the sensible fans want to see the two teams with the best records face off. But I am not sensible, and would have been far happier to see the Dodgers and their sixty-leven billion dollar payroll hit the off-season prematurely. Ah, well.

But it would be infinitely sweeter for the Giants to send the Dodgers into the offseason themselves, no?

Logan Webb is dealing! Dude has all the makings of a 10 year starter.

Hope they keep doing that.

There are very few humans I hate as much as Angel Hernandez. Most of the others are politicians.

He calls no low strikes and all the high strikes until he swallows his whistle on a perfect high outside corner fastball strike 3. Oh and he calls outside strikes every now and again. The guy has no strike zone, it's whatever he's feeling like inning to inning. He's a joke behind the plate and he has been for decades.

I don't think many baseball fans would disagree with you on that.

Well that was embarrassing.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

Bet the Dodgers wish they had saved a couple of those runs from the last game.

7 runs in 3 games, .200 average yet up 2-1.

Do all with 2 inning save but Dodgers we’re able to put the ball into play rather than him striking them out as he’s done during the season.

Wind prevented ball from carrying and supposedly one of the balls which went to the warning tract would normally go out.

What a game last night!

I'm feeling pretty pumped about today. I know that Desclafani has his demons at Chavez and against the Dodgers, but what better time to work them out than in a clinching game in the NLDS? This would be a nice time for the bats to come alive - not sure who's starting for the Dodgers, maybe Beuhler on short rest? But I'd think they would save him for a game 5 unless they want to throw Scherzer out there on 3 days rest.

Apparently it's Beuhler with Urias for game 5 if needed.

Dodgers are going with short time on their rotation with Bauer, Price, and Kershaw on the payroll for $93M ... holy ****.
