He looks really really good.

I know you guys hate it, but I can see Biid-Drummond frontcourt working out in some match-ups.

Match-ups where we face big teams like the Lakers or the Bucks.

I have Thybulle on the outs of the rotation. And Shake on the bubble. Joe is better than both of them, IMO.

Isaiah Joe is a 6”4” Paul George. Dude has 5 point range he’s that deep shooting it. Keeper

This is who he reminds me of...

I see big upside for Joe...i think he needs to replace Kork's minutes yesterday.

I know it's early in the process of post-Ben Sixers, but it seems our bench is set in it's offensive identity, which is great. Drummond and Maxey run the PnR, surround them with Joe, Niang, Kork. They looked lethal the other night.

I think the Ben Simmons trade should be strategic in getting a perfect fit with Embiid. The starters are still a dysfunctional group that is not maximizing Embiid's ability. He's still obviously great, but it would be nice to have a non-PnR point guard/lead guard that can get us buckets and also feed Embiid.

PG is a nasty isolation scorer though and a huge talented wing defender.

I agree he's better than both Kork and Tisse. Shake too, but there has to be a more accurate comp lol.

I don't see Joe ever being a star, but he can be a nasty mid-volume scorer that unlocks the offensive potential of any lineup he's in.

And he does have hidden defensive ability. As a freshman, Joe was a fantastic defensive playmaker, ripping steals at a 2.8% rate.

We've seen Korkmaz become a more confident and aggressive defender as he bulked up and gained weight. I fully expect Joe to follow a similar trajectory.

Exciting times for Sixers fans. We're starting to hit on some of these draft picks.

Just wait until Springer unveils himself to the world in the coming 24 months. Now there's a guy with mini-George/Butler upside.

He better not be a throw in in a trade.

Drummond-Biid frontcourt. Drummond is so impressive

I wish so bad that Milton could transition back to being the offball shooter he was drafted to be.

We'd be sitting pretty with Green, Milton, Korkmaz and Joe in the wing rotation all being willing and capable floor spacers. Our offensive symmetry would be amazing to watch.

Our bench probably beat the breaks off our starters in practice. So much more offensively cohesive.

Springer is going to need to unveil an ounce of skill before he sees regular playing time, much less be a miniature all-NBA player.

Which is why I gave the 24 month time span. He ain't a candidate to get on the court any time soon. But he has the baseline dribble-pass-shoot-defend core four traits to be a star.

I guess my follow up question is which (non-physical freaks like Giannis) stars in the league have taken 24 months to become stars? I'm hoping he can be playable in even 12 months.

If Drummond had committed to staying in his lane and trying to be the very best version ever of Nick Collison, is it fair to say he would have been one of the all time greats?

The one I can most envision Springer becoming (Jimmy Butler).
