Told y'all to shut this thread down but you refused to listen. We shall suffer the consequences.

Anyway, Brown must be asymptomatic? 7-10 days "recovery"/quarantine?

Now that vaccination is basically a priority to play, surely they’re not going to make players sit out once they contract COVID ?

I understand that you're concerned about Brown.
But, let's leave the majority of the COVID controversy in the COVID thread.

He should be back for the regular season. It's a plus actually, I don't think Jaylen needs to work himself into shape or anything, he already looks damn good. Meanwhile it's less wear and tear over a long season.

Brown has never confirmed that he was vaccinated.

I think Brown out for the preseason means he is locked in as the starting 2 though... versus being the 3 and starting another guard with Smart (Schroeder, Nesmith, Pritchard, Richardson, etc.)

Ime sort of lost the luxury of trying out new lineups around the Jay's for the preseason... that part isn't good.

Ya a 10 day quarantine puts him back after the last preseason game but before the first regular season game, assuming he clears the virus and test negative by then. So not a huge impact o actual game availability, but it does effect the C's ability to test new lineups and build team cohesion.

Then again I'm not sure how much 2 less weeks of that stuff really matters, usually it takes some real game action to sort that out completely.

Not ideal, but could be worse. At least now all three of Brown, Tatum and Smart have had it.

Jaylen is obv vaccinated but won't say if he is so that other unvaccinated players can decline to comment for anonymity's sake. If it's only unvaccinated people declining to comment, then they have no cover.

It's actually the right thing to do if you don't want to alienate teammates/league members and I'm actually surprised more players didn't go this route.

I heard on NBC Sports/Boston that Schröder will be Out tonight. I don't see it anywhere, though?

Just read that Pritchard actually broke his nose in the game. Hopefully it won't require much time to heal

Hopefully the reports that came out that said it was broken were premature, and that it really isn't. Still has to hurt like crazy, though. Such a sensative part of the body.

I wonder if a nasal fracture is better or worse than a broken nose?

EDIT - Oh, wait, I just realized that a nasal fracture basically is a broken nose.
