Herbert is a patient runner. The line has stepped up run blocking a little. But they need more protection. I get that they some times used Bars. But they somehow think they don’t have to do it the entire time with extra blocking. Mor play action and protection like against the Lions. Nagy sneaking back into the gameplan.
Raiders have their safeties much deeper than the Lions if I'm not mistaken.
Lazor commits to the running game - it's working and Justin has been really good making the plays that are out there. If the Raiders are going to protect against the deep shots, just keep running the ball down their throat.
