It's was pretty funny watching Harris beg for the ball and WCJ instead passing it to Franz for the open 3. I wish they'd just waive him.

I feel like we are going to have to make some trades to free up some playing time once Isaac, Fultz, & Okeke come back if we go the route of Bamba and WCJ starting together.
I like this. I have/had much higher hopes for Hampton and Harris, but the above is where they belong.
Big questions are whether Fultz and Franz emerge to create some real PT challenges. I'm really pulling for a Fultz/Suggs backcourt but we'll have to see how that shakes out. You left out MCW and E'Twaun Moore, who can both contribute. Perhaps the first half of the season are tryouts and we'll move a couple of vets like Harris and/or TRoss, or even young guys who are suddenly out of the optimal rotations (maybe Cole, RJ) once we see what we've got. The young guys mentioned may not be needed in ORL, but should still have trade value around the league. Maybe we can get that young, long 3 that can shoot back for some pieces.

I doubt Magic do any trades this season. Some players will just have to accept not playing. Only thing I could see is trading either Bamba or WCJ so they don't have to pay both of them.

In a way I think Fultz will blossom with this team. Actually having 3 point shooters will help him tremendously and help him get in the paint with ease.

Not there yet, but some good stuff.
Carter at the 4 got a lot of passes from Ross at the 3. Both out of positions, they had a great two man game.
Perhaps Suggs/Harris/Ross/Cater/Bamba is the opening night stating five.

Long term, I really like that depth chart. Until then, the Magic's rotation against the Spurs might be as good as this team can be without Isaac (and Okeke).

We can expect Ross and Harris to get plenty minutes while JI and Fultz are on the IL to boost their trade value.
Once JI and Fultz are back you can be sure that at least one of them will be moved
My bet is on ross to be moved 1st
once JI and Fultz r healthy
MO,WCJ,Lopez
JI,WCJ,Chuma
Chuma,frantz,Hampton.MCW
Harris,suggs,Hampton,cole,MCW
Fultz,suggs,Cole,MCW

I hope it's Harris. Ross seems to be okay with any role, not sure how happy Harris would be if his minutes were cut. Harris may take a buyout.cedric76 wrote:We can expect Ross and Harris to get plenty minutes while JI and Fultz are on the IL to boost their trade value.

If it's Harris, I would hope it's part of a bigger deal as his contract is around 20m and expiring...makes it more likely to be at the Trade Deadline, when some team packs it in and tries to clear cap space. No reason to buy him out. We've got those extra draft picks in our pocket too, if an opportunity presents.
