I wouldn't say "dodged" because quite a bit of damage was done by Kryie, but I really am glad that he is no longer part of the team.

I honestly have no idea how this statement will influence Kyrie's behavior. Does he bite the bullet and take the vaccine now that it's clear that KD and Harden signed off on this, or does he dig in his heels even further? Neither would surprise me. It's impossible to predict this guy.

Both their trade values are in the toilet. Simmons for obvious, on court related reasons, and Kyrie because there's a credible threat that he would retire if traded from the Nets. Why would any team give up assets when that's a very real possibility
