Nzosa is way better, just a freak around the rim

If he's such a freak around the rim, why doesn't he score more points?

Season high last year was only 16 points. Only had 5 games in double figures out of 40 games played. He only averaged 4.4 points a game last season, compared to 5.8 PPG for Badji.

Badji had 23 points vs Lithuania and showed good finishing ability around the rim.

And even if you think Nzosa is a better finisher around the rim today, what about in the future at the NBA level vs much bigger/stronger defenders? Will Nzosa (2 inches shorter and 65 lbs lighter than Badji) still be a better finisher around the rim?

Badji has a better jump shot..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Nzosa is much more fluid, explosive and coordinated and has a better motor overall.
Badji has a ridiculous frame and has the occasional highlight where he'll look like a beast, but most of the time he doesn't impact the game at all. He has also barely improved his game in the last couple seasons.
Keep in mind he averaged those 5.8 pts playing for Barcelon's 2nd team in the spanish 3rd division, not in the ACB.
He can shoot a bit but 44% from the FT line is not a good sign.
His best case scenario is probably someone like Boniface Ndong.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

Nzosa is not good offensively. I mean, he has a long way to go to be able to get on the floor on a real NBA team. Can't shoot a lick and his passing is terrible. Other than running the court, not sure what he does on offense.

Yannick plays in top Spanish league, Badji plays on Barcelona B, for a reason, he's just all over the place as a player, gets by by being gigantic and can move, obviously a ridiculous athletic profile, but Yannick overall is a much more fundementally sound player on both sides of the court with a clearer path to success in the NBA

if you'd rather take that chance on Badji go ahead, but I'll stick to Yannick, I know what I am getting with him and the ceiling on him is just as high as Badji's.

Just quickly with Roko Prkacin. Having watched his most recent games he’s struggled abit on mobility (hasn’t stopped growing) in adjusting to his own body. Could be a negative or an extra positive.

I swear he’s gone from 6”8” to 6”9’s. He has a very noticeable growth spurt.

Other players didn’t stop growing and took a little while to adjust (JJJ, Lavine, Tatum to name a few) they all kept growing from college to their rookie year in terms of height. Long legs is my best guess

Once he fills out and gets used to it he is going to manhandle a lot of players.

Still not liking the jumpshot, but everything else man he is very very impressive for a youngster. Big kid, loves to get physical with it. Rate him

But every prospect who's tall and can shoot/handle the ball well must be compared to him!

They don’t even have to be good at it, they just had to have dribbled or shot the ball on a highlight video a few times.

You are telling me Kevin Knox is not good? Get the *** out

Those passes and cuts shows that he reads the game very well, good indication that he should adapt to faster NBA game. Definitely looks more interesting that his father was.

Full game here

Good game by Roko but tbh Mornars' defense is pretty turrible

Please forgive my ignorance and don't take this as a knock on Chet (I'm just curious) but how is he allowed to be in the same freshman class as Jalen Duren who is a year and a half younger than him. Tankathon has Chet as 19.4 years old while Duren is 17.9 y/o. Most of the other freshmen are in the 18 y/o range. Chet is older than some sophomores on the list. Is this normal? Honestly, I haven't really looked in previous years and just assumed all freshmen etc were of a similar age.

Chet is on the older side as a freshmen and Duren just reclassified from the 22 class to the 21 class because he's on the right side of the fence of when he can reclassify

Just went through a bunch of Patrick Baldwin Jr film. Really like this dude’s game, real smooth. Excited to watch his on ball development as the lead guy with Milwaukee this season.
