This is the first step for him to get the vaccine
Eventually the money talks and now he is not against the vaccine but just speaking for people’s rights. That way when he DOES get the vaccine he doesn’t look like a hypocrite. I was never against it. Just was trying to send a message for people who can’t

Losing track here.
Clearly Trump rent free in ur head. this has nothing to do with Trump and more to do with forcing society to do what these elites want u to do.. first was conspiracy theory and now all coming out

Kyrie is always the social warrior when one is not needed. Why didn’t he go to the media and say this? Why is this coming from second hand sources? If he really cared about people getting fired why not join a picket line, there are plenty in NYC right now. I’d like to see him fight for workers rights instead of worrying about a personal choice people are making over their jobs. Workers have a choice to take the vaccine or not, they rarely have a choice in improving their working conditions.

Voiceless? The anti-Vaxxers are the loudest group relative to their size and intellect. Was true before and after covid. This guy just wants attention.

This is absolutely not true. People not wanting to get the vaccine are of all political persuasions the largest unvaxxed group is black people.
Most of these people who claim to be so smart and "believe in science" are nothing more than religious fanatics who believe what they are told to believe by the Dr Frankenfuchi types. They couldn't tell you the first thing about "science" that was not fed to them by their masters.

I call BS on him being not anti-Vaxx. Vaccines have been available since late last year. Mandates only came out last month. If he wasn't anti-Vaxx, he would have already taken the vaccine long ago. Dude is trying to hide behind the whole mandate issue as an excuse not to take the vaccine like the majority of the far right clowns. BS.

Selective stats at their to try to win a losing argument.
The largest ethnic percentage of un-vaxxed group is black which is only a fraction of the entire population of the states. And I understand their hesitation given the history of them being experimented on with lethal drugs in the past. But thats not Irving's position. FYI- The largest percentage of unvaxxed Americans is those who support the republican party. That was the original post that you tried to deflect from. And last time I checked, Irving hasn't done anything to ease the fears of the black community w.r.t the vaccine. He hasn't come out and said I'm not taking the vaccine in solidarity with my black folks either. He's just a pussy hiding behind the weak anti-mandate stance opposing mandates that only came out a month ago whereas the vaccine has been around for almost a year.

The fact remains that a larger percentage of African Americans have chosen to be un-vaccinated. And can you blame them? This is the same Federal Govt that conducted the Tuskegee Airmen Experiment. In fact run by the same political party who was in power when that happened, same party who locked up Japanese Americans who'd done nothing but be Japanese in 1941, same party that created the KKK. Need I say more?

Biden and his creepy fake Veep told us during the election campaign that they wouldn't take Trump's vaccine. Now he's all for it and wants to force people to take it. Remember when he told us that he would not have a mandate to take it? This is an exercise in control from the beginning of the outbreak it's been about control and that is what Irving is talking about. I will not be forced to take any medicine by a tyrannical government that is out of control with it's lust for power. Fact is Biden does what he's told by his handlers. Mark this date Jan 21, 2023 it will be when they invoke the 25th Amendment to remove him for being senile.

Does this vaccine stop the virus?
Hey, tell me this why did the CDC change the definition of vaccine on it's website then? https://www.miamiherald.com/news/coronavirus/article254111268.html
These vaccines for covid are really immune system boosters. Turns out that now according to the CDC that word vaccine, it does not mean what society used to mean.

Blah blah blah.. you can make it about the African American experience all you want but THAT IS NOT IRVING'S POSITION. He's not saying I don't trust the vaccine cuz of what was done to black people in the past. He's saying he doesn't want to take it cuz of the mandates which have just come in a month ago when the vaccines been around for a year almost. Why didn't he take the vaccine sooner if he was pro vaccine when there were no mandates around? You're trying to make it about the black community whereas Kyrie couldn't give 2 **** about them. So do us a favor - stop shifting goalposts for Kyries stupidity.

It does not stop you from getting the virus. It only lessens the symptoms there for it's like a therapeutic drug. I always like to remind people that this is not Small Pox or Ebola we are talking about. The death rate is very similar to the seasonal flu it is more contagious, but it was designed to be more contagious.

I think Kyrie is a nut and I wouldn't have him on my team for reasons other than this. But I agree with him that he should not be forced to take it. I'm not shifting the goalposts at all. My position has been the same since the beginning.

The comments here are a good illustration on why someone as high profile as Irving is needed to take a stand.
The amount of disrespect that the some people have for anyone that doesn't tow the line is troublesome. Using government force to destroy the livelihoods of those that are hesitant establishes a dangerous precedent in government overreach; all the while people cheer as it happens.
I'm happy that Irving is taking a stand. I wish more people would. But the backlash he's getting shows what happens if you do.

Baloney!
If he really wants to help, he could give 360 jobless persons $1,000 each for every game he plays 'coz that's what he makes per game.
