Agreed but,

I will never get over Kyrie purposely tanking in that Bucks series which he did.

I agree with your assessment of it being a tank job! I don’t miss his pseudo intelligence or his superior than others attitude.

The only time Kyrie's the smartest person in the room is when he's alone.

Agree, for the most part outside of injuries and some side stuff calling out young players to the media (and behind the scenes stuff), he gave us some really good basketball IMO.

But man this is getting bad with him........really bad.

Personally I am starting to wonder if he just likes to derail teams and organizations needing an excuse for it. Sure the Nets are his "hometown team" but he basically wanted to become a Celtics legend at one point too. And I was never convinced he was only this die hard Nets fan growing up either like he said, there was plenty of buzz that he loved the Knicks as well.

If I was KD or Harden I don't care how much of friends they have been with Kyrie, kick him out. These are two former MVPs and two of the greatest we have ever seen. KD has been a monster on the court after suffering a devastating injury most thought would diminish him. They could actually be a better team without him IMO once they adjust accordingly.

Amused by the ongoing Kyrie saga. This quote from a recent article perfectly describes things:

"Irving is wealthy and dazzling, but puzzling and nonsensical far more than he is insightful. His career has been full of consistent inconsistencies, yet he yearns for the respect and admiration of his peers and the public at large.

He has become a basketball martyr in his own mind and a tool for the disingenuous"

These lowlights show why Kyrie leaving was good for us.

I've been so anti Brooklyn for so long since Kyrie went there...but...NOW....If it came down to us being out of contention, I may (MAY) be able to get behind them now that they have sent Kyrie home. I for one was terrified of a Nets or Philly vs Laker finals last season...again if Kyrie is gone...perhaps I could sort of watch that scenario.

I mean, I would prefer Brooklyn over Lakers anyday. Hopefully KD/Harden is enough for that potential final matchup.

Who will offer him that much money? With his track record, it is very clear that he is not going to dance to anyone else's tune, and his tune is incompatible with a team game. Too much drama.
