The mystery team thing just sounds like a placeholder so they can claim they're right if another team ends up trading for him. I'm sure most of the league has at least had passing conversations with Morey about him even if it it quickly shut down.

I doubt this guy is ever going to wake up and realize that he is his own biggest problem. Even when he gets traded, he will still carry his ego around with him. So I doubt he will ever get out of his own way. You would think the playoffs, the summer and your trade request would be a wake up call to him. But probably not.

On top of all that, he is also having to deal with a really ugly family situation. I truly believe that if he isn't and won't receive counseling support through the help of a sports psychologist, he will continue to have performance-related issues (shooting free throws, being aggressive and *wanting* to be fouled, etc).

Funny so many people use sports or physical activity as a safe haven. A place to clear their mind from whatever is going on in their "real lives". Simmons seems to bring all his baggage to the court.

In days gone past Danny Ainge and the Boston Celtics would be the mystery team. Ainge was going to make the blockbuster trade for Simmons but the 76ers did not return his call.

Have you considered the shot/shot double meaning joke in the context of Ben's lack of ability to shoot a basketball and his lack of having the vaccine? Has that even crossed your mind?
