What is the most we would have traded for Harden when he was in Houston? And who is against offering the exact same package to Brooklyn?

I would even throw in Maxey if we're getting Cam Thomas back.

20 posts per page x 100 = 2000 posts/one part

To arrive at part 10 we need what 18,000 posts?

Cmon people some posters need to pick up the slack!

I see some being Lebron tier floor thread raisers, to that I salute you :)

If Simmons plays and isn't traded by the deadline will he resume his holdout?

Wouldn't he not get paid. Isn't that literally the only reason he would play now?

I would be pretty surprised if he didn't get traded though.

Looking back at Houston trading Harden, it looks like they wanted Simmons, Maxey, and Thybulle, along with “draft compensation.” Brooklyn ended up giving up 4 1sts and 4 swaps to make it happen. I think I remember seeing chatter about the Philly package being Simmons, Thybulle, 3 1sts, 3 swaps but Houston also wanting Maxey added, causing Philly to balk at that point.

Brooklyn, here’s Simmons and Maxey and 3 1sts and 3 swaps for Harden. Maybe they blink.

Gladly decline at Simmons, Thybulle, Maxey and pick swaps for us. It’ll be Butler all over again.

Harden has a PO next year which he’ll decline and go to the highest bidder and get the mammoth bag (his last one most likely or split 2+1 twice over).

Our cap is doo doo already lol.

We’d be at cap limit with Embiid, Harris and Harden.

Yeah, are we really going to trade everything for a mysterious, unknowable dude who, by the way, is a free agent at the end of the year and won't sign an extension with his current team?

Ef that, Brooklyn ain't getting a mega package for Harden. They have no leverage.

Nope, it really isn't.

It's best to just leave it alone sometimes.

The Philadelphia 76ers Message Board. Where the Medical and Legal worlds intersect. Cool.

I learned very early on that if a non-lawyer wants to make a "confidently wrong" declaration about the law, that doesn't harm anyone directly, just let him talk and keep it pushing.

So on RTRS, Spike maintains that Ben will only be used by the 76ers to squeeze tha last remaining leverage Morey has. Sort of like, give your best offers now cause who knows we might keep Ben. That the 76ers wont really actually risk playing Ben in a home game that might turn into a disaster. He said, maybe Ben plays an away pre season game but thats it. 2 weeks or less, Ben is gone, he said.

I'm sure that is their, and Ben's. hope. TBD if it works out that clean though.
