I doubt either team wants to do that. Simmons isn't a great fit in Brooklyn and they don't want to make Phily better. They would rather see them trade him for Brogdan or something.

Philly, while they don't have that law NOW, they probably will have it soon, so what would be the point? Kyrie needs to go to some backwards place that thinks the virus is a hoax like Florida. They are NEVER passing that law.

These are all terrible trade packages.
If those are really the offers no wonder Morey is dragging this out. I wouldn't trade Simmons for any of that either.

My guy, your team just lost by a fifty-burger. How good did he look against the Suns?

We'll check back with you in December, and see how REAL good McCollum looks.

It always floors me when people act like pre season means ANYTHING. But hey, by all means, trade him for D'Angelo Russell or Buddy Hield. Those guys didn't lose a pre season game by 50 so they're probably much better players.

Brogdon and Lavert make the most sense for Philly. They would fit in so nicely with embiid and harris.

I'm skeptical of that... I think the offers are going to continue to be below what Morey (and Sixer fans) thinks it should be for a good while, maybe forever, and he's just gonna end up keeping Simmons instead of trading him.

That's fine. Obviously the Suns game means nothing. I just find it laughable that a Blazers fan would be flexing right now about CJ McCollum...but hey, maybe I am wrong. I will be happy to come back to the GB in December when the Blazers are a top-4 seed in the West and CJ is DEALING.

See you then.

In theory, this is a solid trade. In reality, both of these guys are on the IR ALL THE TIME. Isn't Brogdon hurt AGAIN?

Jazz probably not interested in having 2 non shooters, but let's say they had confidence in their coaching staff enough to gamble.

Conley and Ingles for Simons. Not sure salaries work, might need filler.

Conley and Ingles give embiid 2 perfect high level starters for a win now push

Jazz take a risk on Simmons.

Gobert, Whiteside
Simmons, paschal
Bogdanovic, gay
o'Neale, Clarkson
Mitchell, butler
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Add Jared Butler and 2 unprotected frp's. Still no, but a more serious entry offer.

Not a bad scenario to be in the slightest. The actual pivot should be finding an upper tier ballhandler that can play alongside Ben and Embiid.

A duo under 30 that have a floor together as a 50+ win / 2nd round playoff team isn't the worst position at all to be in.

Mike Conley and Joe Ingles for a 25 year old 3x allstar LMFAO.

I can't believe you typed out a full roster breakdown thinking that offer wasn't block worthy levels of insulting.

I just thought Philly might be interested in winning is all. No intention to offend.

Patience is a virtue. There's no pressure on the Sixers to run out and trade him, especially since Simmons came back to Philadelphia on his own after losing $1 million in salary with his tail between his legs like a stray dog.

My guess is he'll be traded around the trade deadline in February. A GM whose team is performing less-than-expected by that time will panic and bite the bullet. Happens every year. The Sixers will end up with better deals than what's being offered right now.
Truth is on the side of the oppressed.
