I agree with pharaoh. Simmons is an exceptional player, but he has a very specific set of skills and we don’t have the luxury to spend that kind of money on a limited player.
Grant @20 is a much better fit for us than Simmons @38 let alone adding other young guys and valuable role players

Him being kicked out of practice and refusing to participate in defensive drills is hilarious. The team is rallying behind hating Ben right now. It's the anti locker room cancer since they already have a leader in Embiid that never quit on the team. It'll be interesting once Ben gets traded and how heated it'll get once Ben comes back to play in Philly on a new team

NBA is half drama, and this really is dialed to 10 with that suspension

Him being suspended for a game for not willing to do certain things in practice loses him $370K, and then the comments from Embiid about its not their job to babysit anyone makes this an even more volatile situation than it was just a few days ago. Something going to happen soon or things might come to a boiling point.
