He doesn’t have to ask. Sixers don’t want dlo. If you think dlo is the rate limiting step to a Ben Simmons trade. You are out of ur mind.

"Damian Lillard, James Harden, or Bradley Beal." - Daryl Morey, probably.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

Throw in some Firsts and a few Swaps and Morey may consider it.

Apparently he'll also accept Lavine. I guess he's feeling generous.

I’m not so sure. Simmons and KAT are really good friends too, so much so that after the Embiid/KAT fight, Towns privately went to the NBA front office to try to keep Simmons from getting suspending for choking him. KAT also doesn’t have as much control as people think - he is grateful to Flip Saunders and the family for drafting him #1 and very close to Ryan Saunders (he was in his wedding), but they fired him anyway. But who knows for the future? We’ll have to wait and see if Gupta deals with him the same way as Rosas.

I am no DLo fan at all (or Simmons, for that matter), but I try to keep an open mind on things, so I was shocked by this

Nope , Philly knows Sexton and Love is bad Karma together - and the Cav's know they have to up there offer with so many Players involved.
Or what exactly? They miss out on Simmons? I'm pretty sure they're okay with that.

Or what?

Cavs get to pay Love $60 million & extend Sexton for the privilege of being one of the worst teams in the NBA

Love is under contract for this season and the next (assuming a buyout doesn't occur before then). The Cavs don't need to extend Sexton to a number they don't like. They have alternative options. Garland is two years into his rookie contract. I suspect he'll still be here and all of Simmons, Love, and Sexton will be playing elsewhere before he's off it.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.
