It seems like the most probable ORL starting lineup on opening night should be:

PG - Jalen Suggs (if his stomach illness issue prevents him from starting, Cole might step in)
SG - Gary Harris (RJ's not ready to face starters in regular-season games, might be later on but Gary is our most experienced and dependable option right now)
SF - T. Toss (we need some reliable scoring after all, as much as we can call the Human torch "reliable")
PF - Wendell Carter Jr. (impressed many people with his inspired game, hope it wasn't all about the upcoming long-term deal negotiations)
C - Mo Bamba (solid training camp and pre-season performance)

That's the team I am most excited to see on Wednesday, keeping in mind Markell, JI and Okeke are still out for the foreseeable future/

At least that's the starting lineup that makes the most sense, given our players' injuries and unavailability status for various reasons. If Suggs is fit enough come game time, he will surely start. I think one of the most important things J. Mosley is tasked with and expected to succeed at by WeHam, is to try to instill the right mindset in our most important rookie Suggs right from the start. And what better way to start building his confidence than starting his first NBA career game.

Having said that, it won't surprise me if we see Cole Anthony starting if Suggs is not able to have starter's minutes due to his "illness", or perhaps we go small-ball lineup against the Spurs. SA doesn't have many bigs right now and we might deploy multiple guard starting squad with Jalen, Cole, Harris and WCJ, leaving Bamba to come off the bench.

So many ways to go for our rookie coach, even Franz starting is not out of question. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I am starting to feel anxious to see our guys playing in a meaningful NBA game.
When we ride on our bball enemieZ!

And the winner of this poll is .....

.... None of us.

It is ridiculous that here we are on opening night, and the Magic start two rookies, a sophomore and two 4th year players whose OLDEST player is Mo Bamba at the geriatric age of 23. The opening night starters average 21 years in age.

To be fair, the starters played really well together.
