Biid is wearing like a hoodie beneath the jersey right? I think Ben is just saying he’s also on top of the pecking order to be wearing the same thing Biid is wearing.

Another more realistic thing is, he intentionally wore that because he’s telling everyone he’s just there for formality. So he wont train hard. This explains that photo where he’s not engaged during the huddle.

That’s some kind of projection

He’s just wearing the same stuff he has been recently outside the Sixers

I work for the CIA and has a PHD in Behavior Psychology from Oxford.

But seriously, I think he was just a distraction on the team during that practice and he wants it that way. I dont expect him to play or practice hard.

Doesn’t seem like Ben or the team has any interest in him playing soon

Nope

He’s just there to get paid (as they all are)

If his presence is a distraction then Doc and Daryl need to do their jobs

Actually the story with Tobi is he’s telling Ben that there’s a new sheriff in town now.

With all the drama of this team, they should make a show out of it called "Doc and Morey".

Lol. If this is how Simmons is going to show discontent and act out Morey will have all the time in the world to find a trade. He can't affect practice time by dominating, yelling or being fat so he's just a side show who's sulking and passive aggressive behavior can mostly be ignored while the rest of the team goes about its business.

There doesn't seem to be much drama outside of "it's a little awkward"

This guy acts like a child having a temper tantrum every single day. It must be exhausting for adults to be around him. A grown man pouting every day......wow. Just let him pout eventually he will come around. Just a matter of attrition and Ben has shown he has no stomach for any type of long grinding out process.

The thing that doesn't make him a distraction is the same thing that has his suitors hesitant. He's not a star.

Stars can create untenable situations and the "we need to trade for him" attitude of so called trade partners. Ben does neither.

I mean its practice.

He has been off for a while and according to Doc we have new **** in place. Him sleepwalking through the first few practices is not that big of a deal.

Sometimes I feels like some are just ready to be mad and are jumping at the first thing they can latch onto lol. IF he plays (again no clue how he does) and dogs it, it will show and then you can start to squirm a bit. Practice photos from people who are out on Ben already doesn't do it for me.

Well I think the bigger deal is that it's the first practices for him because he skipped the first 90% of preseason.

If you're a guy on the team it definitely makes sense to just accept it happened and move on, there's nothing you can do about it at this point, but at the same time there's a reason why they don't just roll up to opening night and play, and him missing all of that makes their job (winning basketball games) harder.

Plus I really doubt he's playing tomorrow so guys are going to have to deal with playing without a real point guard for part of actual NBA games, which they can't be thrilled by.

I think it's more about all that than any "distraction" he's causing.
