For those that don't want to waste 35 minutes:

Ben thought he could recoup the fines that was levied against him but the NBA changed wording from "may be fined" to "would be fined."

Morey was trying to trade Simmons for James Harden before the season started.

The team was honest and upfront with Ben about the trade discussions

But it put Simmons in a bad head space and hampered his relationship with Doc

His sister's allegations effected him so much that he missed several important games that the sixers would lose.

Team didn't how to approach him about the matter so just gave him space.

He asked the team not to talk about it to the media and the team classified Ben's absence as an illness.

tension between Ben and his teammates grew from his play in the Atlanta series and the possibility of missing game 7 because of possible Covid exposure.

Doc and Embiid weren't trying to blame Simmons in the after game press conference.

Ben was humiliated after the game and wanted a fresh start.

Rich Paul tried to clear the air between Simmons and the organization by inviting them to his house.
