Literally the best sign of the offseason for me.

My Lakers rotation . It’s hard with all the injuries at the shooting guard.
The center position scares me.
The point of this for me is how I feel Westbrook fits.
To me he isn’t and won’t be the problem .

Jordan -20 Howard -20 Davis -7
Davis-29 Melo -19
James -36 Bazemore-12

Pg. Westbrook -36 Rondo -12
Sg. Monk -24 Bradley -24

Westbrook relegating lebron to the secondary ball handler should not be debilitating. In many ways can be advantageous to lessen the responsibilities of lebron.

If lebron milks ball handling then Westbrook is still the focal point and lead guard of the backcourt .
He has to make himself useful in the half court meaning using his strengths such as rebounding , assisting , driving , midrange scoring and drawing fouls.

The way I see it the backcourt is responsible for production independent of the frontcourt.

Besides Westbrook there isn’t a whole lot of firepower so him having a 30 point triple DOuble is ideal considering the type of production you would like allocated to the backcourt .

The thing I thing that will hurt this team the most is opposing 3 point shooting . The Lakers can prove dominance but once a team starts chucking away it can leave a 2 pointer reliant team behind the 8 ball.

I feel Suggs right now is too uptight, justifying his selection over Barnes and doing too much

Curry and the GSW look like they mean business this season, since game one. Playing really well. Imagine when they add Klay to the rotation. I’m hoping we get to beat them in the WCF.
NBA titles since the merger: LAL 11, CHI 6, SAS 5, BOS 5, GSW 4.

Man. I knew they be good this year but they’ve been blowing my expectations out the water. Wish the Lakers had one more high quality wing to help against those guys.

I hope Morris is okay, but I don’t think he’ll tackle Jokic again. A cheap shot like that arguably deserves a retaliation like that. Jokic will probably sit out a few games.
