Morey is the biggest clown through all of this. He overvalued Simmons knowing damn well he didn't have any leverage. The trade market essentially dried up and now he wants the team to patch up the relationship and save his ass. I fully support Simmons for giving that whole organization the middle finger.

There is absolutely no way he plays the home opener now after this. That first game in NO was an oppertunity to show Philly fans that he is at least there to play until a deal can be found to move him. Getting suspended for that game over misconduct at practice.... Philly fans are going to eat him alive if he steps foot on that court, and he knows that.

My prediction is he will not be in the city of Philadelphia on the 22nd.

The stupidest part is he's trying to get traded but this ish is only going to make teams less interested in trading for him.

He told the Sixers he's not going to participate in rehabbing this value, and the only reason they're dragging this on is the hopes that he will. I don't think his value can get lower. At this point all 29 other GMs have thought deeply about the pros and cons of Simmons the player and personality.

As I said last week when the talk of Simmons reporting to camp started, I saw this ending up just like the Harden situation where he intentionally showed up as a malcontent to basically force the team to trade him to rid of the team cancer. Well, this is shaping up to be worse than the Harden situation and now the Sixers are in even a bigger position of weakness. I bet they regret setting the price so high now.
