Of course they did. Ben Simmons all of a sudden break bread with the sixers again. It's over...he just has 150 MM dollar owed to him and isn't about to not collect on that. Included in that number is that 8 MM roster bonus in an escrow account.

So he is basically collecting that money and will give a half assed effort. All those reports where practice was running smoothly are complete BS and this suspension proves that.

Eventually Simmons camp will file a grievance with the league they can't keep suspending him because "effort" isn't something you can suspend someone for and not pay them.

Philly is going to trade him for a much lowered value and then they will watch him magically be productive and a great teammate on his new team. Book it. Rich Paul is already making calls saying that "there is more to the story not being reported with why Ben & Philly's relationship is unreconcilable. It will be a different situation once you trade for him."
