Dude's morphing into Kendrick Perkins faster than I thought. He'll be spewing dumb hot takes on ESPN in no time.

Lol, i have no idea how these contracts work. I wonder if Doc saying "you should go home" is enough to say "whelp, I tried but they didn't want me" and still get paid

It is really amazing that the Bucks have 2 rivals I feel as good or better talent (Personally think simmons/embiid is more talented than Giannis/Midds), but their 2 PGs are trying their hardest to sabotage the season to an extent where either one would probably be the craziest story line of the last couple years.

Will be funny if the sixers just keep making him show up but then suspend him or just make him practice but never play him.

If you go back to Philly having the first pick with a shot at Tatum and someone told me this is how it played out I would not believe. One of the all time failures by a team in any sport.

I'm not saying he takes HGH but...

Should note I actually don't really care if pro athletes take that or other designer drugs, and lot do. Plus what's legal for them to take and what's not is a pretty arbitrary deal these days. We're long past the days of bad steroids.

He’s on a **** of gear. Has been since at least Miami. TBH, Giannis too and a bunch of other NBA stars

Does Simmons get paid if he's suspended by the team?

Suspect he'd have more of an argument that he deserves to compared to outright not showing up at all...but refusing to do a drill if not general insubordination seems like something that should cost him at least.

Curious to see how the players union plays it.

It’s crazy to think any athlete at the top of their sport doesn’t take anything.

Watching the whole Simmons fiasco play out makes me kinda relieved Rogers took the high road in his stand off with the packers.

Embiid is doing the best impersonation of an adult in these events, which I never would have believed when he was drafted.

Ben is clearly an immature flog, but the inability of Rivers and the Philly FO to manage this is astounding. Did they expect him just to return and everything be completely normal? It appears there was no actual contingency planning...

Simmons has had an all time bad off-season. I truly didn't believe he had this in him

I don't know about Embiid. I don't blame him but he isn't exactly being the crafty leader that shows up at Simmon's house, slams a picture of the LO'Brien trophy on the kitchen table, and gives a "Ben, I know we've had our differences but we need you" type speech to smooth things over that you would see in a movie. I think they blew it up too soon with the press conference shots taken at Simmons before they had finalized any trades. Part of this is on Doc and Joel.

I mean, this is on Simmons, but he's the one who's literally paying for it, so hopefully for his sake he's at least buying an education. Paul's still representing him though!

Guys have to learn that Paul is going to bet on himself on their dime. He's going to win more than he loses, which is fine for him, not so great for the guys on whose behalf he loses.

Paul George thinks 10% of his haters are as good or better than him at basketball?

Bagley could simply play better if he wants to play. But with that said I'm not sure why Sac hasn't traded him yet since they are obviously over this dude.
