They tendered his Qualifying Offer to make him a RFA. They didn't expect him to have no market and sign the QO. Because he's a 1 year contract with bird rights, he has veto power on any trade.

It's the first game of the season and everyone is trying to figure out what works and what doesn't. It's not make or break. The Nets will eventually catch a rhythm and consistency and throttle the league. 0-1 or 1-0, it doesn't mean anything. I predicted the Nets in a blowout because I figured KD/Harden would come out and be annoyed by the ring ceremony but I guess not. No biggie, this is a rhythm game and the season is a marathon.

I'm not sure what Nash is doing right now.

Nash did the unthinkable, he regressed and after last season who would’ve thought it was even possible

How come Harden never gets the 3-point foul with defenders lunging at him into his landing space? Because his name is James Harden?

The loss of D'Antoni is probably contributing to that.

It’s the first game of the season for the Bucks as well , it’s a weak explanation

The self proclaimed "one of the best defenders in the league" has been getting torched by every single Bucks player out there.

The Nets have shot 64 times, the Bucks 80. Recipe for a loss no matter how poor the effort has or hasn't been.

Last season Nets Twitter had to bully Nash into playing Bruce Brown...looks like that is needed again.

Frankly, given how horrible we have played, I'm shocked we're only down 12.

The bucks are shorthanded, we're spoiled for depth and have to figure out what we've got and who ultimately earns these spots for when the rotation tightens. This is the time to be auditioning line ups.

Nic is going to need to play a lot better if we're going to rely on him. he played soft just now against Giannis. Weak box out and just watched him dunk it. inexcusable.

Claxton just not big enough unfortunately. Still 10-15 pounds too light

Harden looks a far cry from his MVP level. I'm not worried yet but something to keep an eye on.
