I think if they knew they'd get Rondo then they may have gone for Hield or DeMar

Carmelo with more shots than Lebron and the 2nd highest field goal attempt. The guy came off the bench.

We're back to Vogel's obsession with playing Rondo 17 minutes straight at a time.

I will say that Westbrook is actually making good decisions, just has no ability to make shots

This is on a night where Lebron and AD went off. Some guys are born inefficient, has nothing to do with teammate quality.

Anyway Lakers have actually been good on offense, including Carmelo, they may have the best shotmaking in the league but that defense doesn't work hard enough to sustain leads. Warriors shouldn't be this close. 5 minutes of improved shooting could be enough to take this. Lakers are getting away with some huge defensive errors.

Vogel needs to get Rondo out of Westbrook’s way with that second unit. Chuck is 100% correct.

Give Westbrook the ball and
Let him run the show when LeBron is out of the game.

Rondo should only be in when Westbrook is sitting.

———-

I like what Carmelo gave on the second unit. His job is to gun it off the bench, and that is what he did. He has a one track mind and he does not hesitate, I like that coming off the bench.

LeBron looks impressive. Imagine if Westbrook was even close to the old Westbrook. The players after James and AD are pretty much useless. I would have loved to have a healthy Ariza in there. Nunn could be something as well. Oh well.

They're really just trying to ctrl-z back to the 2020 season and replicate everything down to playing a boneheaded stiff for the first 5 minute of each half for no reason before pulling him lol. Straight incompetence

DeAndre Jordan needs to learn how to excel in his first quarter and third quarter minutes (especially after sitting long stretches from first to third). He has been atrocious to begin this third quarter.

His rebounding has been extremely suspect in the third.

His defensive rotations today have been amazing. He's really the key to this whole thing.

Miami like defense from Bron tonight, razor sharp execution on his rotations and he's moving his feet really well. He's been everywhere.

Russ just looks so out of wack rn its crazy

Replace Russ with Buddy Hield, Caruso, and Pope and were up 20

I don't even know if we could trade him if we had to

This is why you can't evaluate LeBron's with distance traveled and shot contests. He plays more like a backline pseudo-big and operates inside the paint. He's still easily one of the most impactful defenders in the NBA

There's no damn spacing. Vogel continues to be the worst offensive coach in the league
