Monk gives up straight line blow buys to backups. He needs to be put where the sun don’t shine.

He is not playable.

Yup he is not playable sadly

I had hope for him

But he was awful on D in the preseason too

Guy is just not giving effort or really low IQ

He has the tools though

Westbrook needs to retire at this point. He's going out worse than AI did

The Lakers would love to get those numbers out of him, sadly

Considering the Lakers had a frontrow seat to exposing Westbrook in the 2020 playoffs going back to trade for him was madness. Even his assists to shooters look low quality, doesn't get deep enough in the paint to actually create an advantage. There's a reason the roleplayers are struggling to get a shot off when he's the passer.

Bradley needs all of Monk’s minutes. All of them.

Melo can't play in the clutch. His defense is atrocious.

Pelinka is terrible.

The only decent Lakers team was the leftovers in FA that were put together after Kawhi bailed on them.. With two proper offseasons to improve the team Pelinka has only made it worse.

Monk cost himself a big opportunity, guy is done, lazy on D, low IQ

Vogel wont play him

Ellington probably wont do much better, but lets see what he does

Avery should get all of those Monk minutes for now

47% free throw shooting as a team lol. (despite Dwight actually going 3/4)

I know single-game plus-minus is of limited value, but Russ is somehow -28. Next worst is Monk at -13.

Can't be overstated how utterly stupid Rob Pelinka is. Legitimately the biggest idiot in sports

Westbrook a cool -28.

Bjelica
Poole
Wiggins
Looney
Iggy
Toscano

Would all be the third best player on the Lakers.

Sad.

On top of it all, Lakers don’t get any free throws and when they do, they can’t make them as per usual.

Yeah that Rondo/Russ/Melo lineup sank them defensively in the second half. Lots of stuff to clean up, BUT LeBron and AD still look like the best duo in the league and that's all that matters for the first game.

This team is trash. Horribly constructed. Not worth watching.

I think I may have to bail on this season. It’s not worth the aggravation. LeBron’s milestones can be tracked in the box scores.

Yup. I said it before the worst part of Westbrook is how he puts a front office in prison for having the audacity to acquire him.

LAL is done. It’d be a miracle to get the flexibility they had from 2018-2020 back.
