He played great which is a testament to his talent, but it was stunning how visibly gassed AD looked at certain points last night. Dude got his ring and just seems content to ride out his prime without ever working on his body/conditioning in the offseason. But again, it's some karmic justice that his body is already breaking down with the way he constantly crashes to the floor with the slightest physical contact when he's a 6'10, 250 lb behemoth of a man.

Re: ATL - 2021-22 Regular Season Begins
What are people's thought on Harden this year?
It looks like he lost a step and it shows on D and his passing. He had at least 2 passes where he seemed to be slower or less lift than he thought and turned it over.
Add in he is losing points and efficiency if they continue not to give him free points every time he flails his arms, which snow balls into allow teams to guard him better without fear. I thought he was going to be a MVP candidate but now I'm not sure he even makes 2nd team all-NBA. Still a great player but just not as dominant.

Would you rather have the current Lakers roster or replace Westbrook with Hield, Caruso and KCP. I think it's possible they could have traded Kuzma, Harrell and picks for that. I'd easily take the latter

He's put on some weight to move towards playing center possibly? I couldn't tell if that was all good weight. I take for granted the conditioning of Lebron over the years and have expected Giannis to be that fit. It's hard to reach that level of cardio for anyone but especially when you're carrying as much weight as they do. Beyond it being the first game of the season, AD will face some challenges adjusting to his new physique

Yea RW might be the least ideal 'star' player to pair with LBJ (maybe simmons). Didn't really make sense to me other than if LBJ planned to load manage a lot so they wanted someone else there to drive everything on his off days. Still would make for a clunky playoff roster. We'll see I guess, but I suppose we can't forget they can still trade RW at the deadline.

The best part of Harden's game is his ball-handling and passing. He's phenomenal as a PG and I expect that to continue. I doubt though he comes close to being the dominant offensive player he has been in the past this year for the reasons you said. He looks doughier each year. I predict there will be more "Harden is a great post-defender" discussions as he moves to the 4 position defensively to avoid as much movement as possible. As I write this post, I am remembering how much I dislike his basketball attitude

Love PJ. He'll be a Buck for life in my eyes. And again, we don't win a ring without him. But these comments won't intimidate a single soul inside the Bucks' organization.

He has the tools and the talent but he's one of the softest "bigs" I've seen. Dude falls down 4-5 times a game.
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS

Read today that Zion is over 300lbs. That ain't good. What's funny is I swear I saw multiple posts on social media saying he's been "slimming down" - that obviously wasn't true. Even with an injury, there are plenty of ways to stay in decent shape. At this weight he'll squander his talent.

Can't find the post but someone on Twitter was counting and he had fallen down 10 times and the game wasn't over yet.CharityStripe34 wrote:Ron Swanson wrote:He played great which is a testament to his talent, but it was stunning how visibly gassed AD looked at certain points last night. Whatever PJ.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Whatever it takes to motivate him, but I really don't see how he can be too fired up or angry with MKE. We got him a title and that run helped him lock in another chunk of money in one of the best spots for NBA players to live.

Ugh, annoying that all of Jrue/Donte/Bobby are probably gonna be missing tomorrow. Really want our full squad against Miami after those PJ comments

Westbrook for Kyrie.

Jrue only played the 1st half & they blew out Brooklyn last night. Then again, he did play a half.

I might be a hater but i don't get the Heat love. I think they are destined to be filled with petty drama. Lowry is on the wrong side of 35, Tucker is a below average player, let alone starter. I don't see butler aging well. They really need Bam, Herro and Robinson to reach their full upside to be scary IMHO.
I think we should handle them easily even with those guys sitting
Giannis >>> Butler
Midds >> Lowry
Lopez << Bam
Robinson >? Allen
PJ >? Hill
