We’re never breaking ground on the entertainment complex.

Training center is still on track for May.

We're never going to a competitive team for a sustainable amount of time, because we aren't willing to pay the luxury tax.

I'm happy the Devos family is making money from the local tax payers.

Why? They have more than enough swindled money thru their pyramid scheme business.

We blew up the team the year after we made the finals in 2009, to save money.

Sure they'll pay a couple million extra for a year. Look at Milwaukee and Utah, both are paying well over 200m.

Also they do get help to acquire land and get taxpayer money, to help build all complexes over the years.

This is false. We actually were at a salary of 69mil the year we went to the finals and the very next year we jumped to 82mil by adding VC. The only reason they blew it up was because RL & VC were starting to show their age and we didnt have the cap to sign anyone.

One thing you can't say about the DeVos family is that they arent willing to pay the tax to win. They learned their lesson with Shaq.

We should've kept Hedo, Gortat, Rafer, and Lee. It would've cost more to keep those guys, than what we spent.

Could you imagine if the Suns got rid of Ayton, Bridges, and Cam Johnson this year? That's the equivalent of what we did.

VC wasn't the all-star player he was before, when we got him.

The Magic are cheap. We're the Donald Sterling of the east.

We didnt do any of that because they were cheap. We had Rafer, Lee, Turk and Gortat(which he signed an extension that summer) under contract. They thought VC was the player we needed to push us over the edge and they were wrong. It had nothing to do with them being cheap. We increased our payroll by 13+ million and were in the luxary cap. Even the year after that we jumped to a 90 million payroll. They werent cheap they were just stupid.

The payroll would've increased more if we kept Hedo and gave him a big contract.

Even Kobe said he couldn't believe we broke up that team.

Yeah where is this coming from that the Magic org isn't willing to spend? I really don't know much about each team's owner and their main businesses whether profitable or not but I have always heard our team is one of those willing to spend and go over the tax... especially during the D12 era

For a long time, the penalties for going over the cap were mild. This has changed. We don't know whether or not this organization will spend to keep talent or not.
